  • Publication number: 20020176801
Abstract: An integrated fluid delivery and analysis system and components thereof for preparing and/or analyzing samples. The components may include a transport module, a fluidics module, and an analysis module, among others.
    Type: Application
    Filed: February 1, 2002
    Publication date: November 28, 2002
Inventors: Robert H. Giebeler, David G. Ogle, Roger A. Kaye, Steven A. McNerney, Gillian M. Humphries, Dean G. Hafeman, Douglas N. Modlin
  • Patent number: 5112134
Abstract: A multibeam photometric measuring device includes a light assembly comprising a single modulated light source along with a filter assembly for passing only a desired band of wavelengths and an optical system for suitably focusing light from the light source. A plurality of light transmitting means accept light and transmit it individually to each of the plurality of sites disposed on a multi-well sample plate.Enhancement of color distribution resulting from chromogenic reactions is provided by automatic agitation of the reacting agents within the sample wells before a reading is taken at each of the sampling intervals of a kinetic measurement sequence.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 8, 1991
Date of Patent: May 12, 1992
    Assignee: Molecular Devices Corporation
Inventors: Calvin Y. H. Chow, Gillian M. Humphries, Viola T. Kung, Michael M. Lacy
