Abstract: A system and methods for searching for and displaying travel itineraries and fares that satisfy a traveler's flexible travel requirements. Users may enter data relating to a trip's origin and a destination as well as various dates the user can travel. The system and methods locate multiple itineraries that cover the various dates on which the user can travel. The system and methods allow prospective travelers to efficiently identify which itineraries best meet their schedules and budgetary requirements.

Abstract: A computer implemented system and method for providing on-line purchasing of products through a communications network are provided. An application server of the system is adapted to determine that a user is interacting with a website associated with the application server as a guest registrant. A guest processing component residing on the application server obtains information during an on-line purchasing process that is used to establish a member registration account. The member registration account is associated with the user that interacts with the host website as a guest registrant.

Abstract: A product availability tracking and notification system and method is provided that automatically alerts consumers of product availability, such as air travel fares, that is automatically searched after an initial search is performed which meets the criteria of the user. To obtain current price information, internally generated queries and user generated queries that match trips being tracked with corresponding search criteria are provided. In tracking airfares for a trip, applicable taxes and fees are included to provide the consumer an accurate total cost. Notification of current pricing is displayed and communicated to the user once the product is available at a specified target price and after a predetermined time period if the defined target price is not found. Searches and pricing for multiple traveler types and travel date flexibility are provided.

Abstract: A system and method of automatically creating a window for display on a display device coupled with a user computer are provided. An application server of the system receives search criteria inputted through user interaction at a user computer displaying web pages of a particular website. The system determines that the website may be exited from the user computer. An exit window having information related to the search criteria is launched for display in response to the determination that the website is being exited.
