  • Patent number: 6668352
Abstract: A receiving device in a multi-code mobile communication system is disclosed. In the multi-code mobile communication system, user serial data is broken down into a plurality of parallel data channels and parity data is generated from the user parallel data. The parity data is transmitted on a redundancy channel. In the receiving device, each symbol is decided using multi-codes from a signal received on the data and redundancy channels. An energy calculator in the receiving device calculates the energy of each decided symbol. A parity checker determines whether errors have been generated by checking the parity of symbol data, and a sign inverter inverts the sign of a symbol with the smallest energy as calculated by the energy calculator if it is determined that errors have been generated and thus corrects the errors.

  • Patent number: 6570908
Abstract: A device and method for compensating for distortion with use of a high power amplifier in a multi-code mobile communication system. In the distortion compensating device, a plurality of receivers regenerate corresponding user multi-channel signals from an input signal, an interference canceler subtracts the signals regenerated in the other receivers from the input signal, to thereby cancel the interference of the other user signals, and a distortion compensator calculates Euclidean distances between regenerated candidate information and the output of the interference canceler, using multi-channel symbols decided in the corresponding receiver and determines the candidate information with the smallest Euclidean distance.

  • Patent number: 6373178
Abstract: Electron gun for a color CRT having main lens forming electrodes wherein a depth from a rim portion of an anode to an electrostatic field control electrode is deeper than the depth from the rim portion of a cathode to the electrostatic field control electrode, and a DQ lens action of a center beam portion formed by the DQ lens unit being weaker than the DQ lens action of an outer electron beam portion, whereby reducing a spot diameter by enlarging a main lens diameter and correcting inconsistency between a center beam and an outer beam in the DQ lens.

  • Publication number: 20020041142
Abstract: Disclosed is a cathode supporter for an electric gun in a CRT(Cathode Ray Tube), which can reduce an amount of expensive ceramics glass used, which is filled within the cathode supporter, by removing guide pipes from the cathode supporter, which is conventionally provide with the guide pipes through which guide pins of a beading jig are inserted, to decrease a horizontal length a of the cathode supporter. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the electric gun includes three cathodes for radiating electron beams, a plurality of electrodes for controlling, accelerating and focusing the electron beams, and guide holes formed at both sides of some electrodes among the plurality of electrodes for allowing guide means to be inserted therethrough, wherein the horizontal length of the cathode supporter for supporting the cathodes are smaller than an inside horizontal length of the guide means to prevent any interference from being generated between the cathode supporter and the guide pins.
