  • Patent number: 10027053
Abstract: An electrical coaxial connector system includes a plug connector and a receptacle connector. The plug connector has an elastomeric boot disposed on the plug connector having a peripheral sealing lip formed on the peripheral opening of the boot. Upon mating of the plug and receptacle connectors the boot is advanced along a mating direction and installed to a sealing position with a one handed operation and further having additional tactile feedback to indicate complete installation of the sealing boot.

  • Patent number: 5518414
Abstract: A connector assembly containing a V-shaped spring continuity bridge, which moves between a first position, in which continuity is maintained between two contacts, and a second position in which continuity between the two contacts is broken, upon insertion of a mating plug, the V-spring continuity bridge being mounted to the connector body via a mounting block. The V-shaped spring is formed so that a center portion thereof is radiused, and no sharp angles are present. This center portion loosely fits into a corresponding groove formed in the mounting block allowing for movement of the entire V-spring continuity bridge upon deflection caused by contact with the mating plug.

  • Patent number: 5249984
Abstract: An adapter including a front and rear conductive portion separated by a filter device and a non-conductive support, through which an RF-type cable connector can be inserted and mounted on a receiving connector on an external device. Because the conductive portions of the adapter are isolated from the panel by means of the disc capacitor, all DC ground currents are prevented from passing through the filtering device, effectively isolating the shell of the panel on which it is mounted, while all AC currents are passed through the filtering device to the panel on which it is mounted, effectively grounding any undesired radiating signals and preventing interference. The adapter can be supplied as a single unit which is simply inserted over the connector body before panel mounting.

  • Patent number: 4810206
Abstract: A locking electrical connector having male and female connector bodies forming a plug-in type assembly wherein the female connector body has at least one electrical terminal and the male connector body has at least one terminal-receiving socket in axial alignment therewith to form an electrical connection. The locking electrical connector has at least one pin and socket assembly for maintaining the connector bodies in locking connection with each other wherein a socket is on the female connector body. The male connector body has first and second chambers which exit into a recessed mating area and a plunger assembly capable of being displaced within the second chamber for movement therethrough. The pin is at the front end of the plunger assembly and capable of being positioned within the recessed mating area, and the socket is adapted to pass through the first chamber and contact the pin in positive locking engagement when the male and female connector bodies are engaged.
