    Abstract: A system for purifying impurity-infused water includes a CO2 input tubular, a CO2 output tubular, a CO2 hydrate-former vessel configured to form CO2 hydrates using the CO2 from the CO2 input tubular and the impurity-infused water. The system also includes a CO2 hydrate-dissociator vessel configured receive CO2 hydrates from the CO2 hydrate-former vessel and to dissociate the CO2 hydrates into purified water and dissociated CO2 by heating the CO2 hydrates. The system further includes a CO2 compressor configured to receive the dissociated CO2 from the CO2 hydrate-dissociator vessel, compress the dissociated CO2, and discharge compressed CO2 into the CO2 output tubular. The CO2 hydrate-former vessel includes an impurity solution output for discharging an impurity solution having impurities removed from the impurity-infused water by the formation of the CO2 hydrates. The CO2 hydrate-dissociator vessel includes a heating device configured to heat the CO2 hydrates to dissociate them.

    Abstract: The disclosure concerns an abrasive gas turbine blade tip cap preform for bonding to a blade tip to form an abrasive blade tip cap, the abrasive gas turbine blade tip cap preform being formed of a bonding layer and an abrasive layer, the bonding layer being a metallic layer comprising powder size particles of a nickel braze alloy and a nickel base superalloy, and the abrasive layer being a ceramic layer in a metal matrix comprising powder size particles of cubic boron nitride (cBN) and aluminum oxide (Al2O3) in a metal matrix of same composition of the bonding layer. The disclosure also concerns a method of manufacturing an abrasive gas turbine blade tip cap preform and a method of bonding the abrasive gas turbine blade tip cap preform to a blade tip to form an abrasive blade tip cap.

    Abstract: A valve comprising a body having a cylindrical sliding seat and an opening for the passage of air; a plunger sliding axially inside the aforementioned seat, for regulating the aforementioned air supply opening; and an electromagnet, the core of which presents a rod fitting through an axial hole on the plunger. According to the present invention, the plunger is connected elastically to the rod by means of two springs, each designed to exert elastic force on the plunger in the opposite direction to that of the other spring; regulating means being provided for enabling predetermined preloading of both springs.
