Abstract: A security fastener for non-releasably securing an identification band to a person or object which includes carrier means located inside the lower extremity of said band, the carrier means incorporating fastener means insertable through openings in the upper and lower extremities of the band. Receptor means is provided in a security shroud which overlies the upper extremity of the band, locking means being engagable with the fastener means to maintain said shroud in said overlying relationship.

Abstract: A pharmaceutical pouch constructed of two sheets of laminated plastic sealed together about their perimeter. An integrally formed straw and mounting flange is provided on its interior. The straw is secured to the pouch by sealing the flange between the two laminated sheets. The flange retains the straw in alignment with an indicated openable portion of the pouch. The straw has an accordian-like flexible central portion, and is stored inside the pouch in the compressed position such that the straw will expand through the opening when the pouch is opened.

Abstract: A plastic laminated pouch, suitable for containing food, beverages or other pourable contents, with an integrally formed generally cylindrical pour spout. Application of force directed radially inwardly upon the sidewalls of the pour spout causes the top of the spout to fracture generally along lines of reduced structural integrity provided thereon, permitting the contents of the pouch to be easily and neatly emptied therethrough.

Abstract: Apparatus for filling and assembling single serving beverage cups in which single serving beverage concentrate containers as sequentially filled from at least two and in some cases three separate beverage concentrate supply means with predetermined exactly metered quantities of beverage concentrate, and are then sealed and in which the containers are then transferred from one conveyor to another and are inserted into single serving beverage cups, on the second conveyor, and pressed firmly into the bottom thereof to engage suitable retaining means located in the side walls of the cups.
