  • Publication number: 20210023343
Abstract: A guide device for inserting a surgical instrument inside a body cavity comprises a guide body, a stabilisation opening and a stabilizing element which can be slidingly engaged inside of the guide body to come out from the latter through the stabilisation opening. In particular, the guide body comprises a deformable portion suitable to pass from a concave configuration, bending towards the inside to house at least partially therein the stabilizing element, to a convex configuration, bending towards the outside of the guide body restoring the cross-section of the inner lumen, and vice versa. The guide body is therefore able to shrink in diameter during the passage inside an introducer catheter and to reacquire the nominal diameter at the operative level.

  • Publication number: 20180318558
Abstract: Described herein is a method using an assembly having a guide-wire having distally a flexible tip, and a guide-wire kit having comprising an introduction element of the guide-wire, a torque body, proximal to the introduction element, which includes blocking element of the guide-wire to-the body, and a slide control which defines a support surface for the guide-wire, manually accessible to control (roto-)translations of the guide-wire, thereby orientations and/or sliding of the flexible tip, when the blocking element is in a release configuration. The torque body, the introduction element and the slide control are each diesengageable, independently of the others, from the guide-wire in a radial direction.

  • Patent number: 9662471
Abstract: Catheters are provided which have a high capacity of axial (pushability) and rotational (torquability) movement with relative maximum flexibility and which, at the same time have the ability to adapt to at least partial variations of diameter under the thrust of other catheters or dilators travelling though the lumen or so as to flatten itself at least partially to travel through the lumen of other catheters, such as for example feed catheters.

  • Patent number: 9539414
Abstract: A variable curvature catheter (4) with a strong capacity to maintain the desired curvature comprising a catheter body (8) which extends from a proximal end (12) to a distal end (16), provided with a side wall (20) which defines at least one cavity (24); the catheter body (8) comprises, at said distal end (16), a variable curvature section (28) which ends in a tip (32). Inside the cavity (24) at least one traction wire (36) is housed having an ascending branch (40), which extends from the proximal end (12) towards the distal end (16) so as to at least partially go through the variable curvature section (28) at least as far as a first fork (44).

  • Publication number: 20160058979
Abstract: Assembly (1) comprising a guide-wire (2) having distally a flexible tip (4), and a guide-wire kit (10) comprising an introduction element (6) of the guide-wire (2), a torque body (12), proximal to the introduction element (6), which comprises blocking means (16) of said guide-wire (2) to said body (12), and a slide control (18) which defines a support surface (20) for the guide-wire (2), manually accessible to control (roto-) translations of the guide-wire (2), thereby orientations and/or sliding of the flexible tip (4), when the means (16) are in a release configuration. The torque body (12), the introduction element (6) and the slide control (18) are each disengageable, independently of the others, from the guide-wire (2) in a radial direction. The present invention further regards a relative kit, a method of use and a method of mounting of a guide-wire assembly (1).
