  • Patent number: 6056011
Abstract: A fitting including two fitting parts connectable to respective pipes and provided with respective ball valves one of which with concavity, and a coupling device of the quick release type for the aforementioned fitting parts. It provides a functional interconnection that prevents the closing of the valve without concavity before the closing of the valve with concavity and the release of the coupling device before the closing of the valve without concavity. The functional interconnection includes a first control lever for the closing rotation of the valve with concavity, a second control lever for the closing rotation of the valve without concavity, that is hinged on the same axes of the first lever and has a rotation subordinated to the removal of a mechanical block caused by the first lever in an opening position.

  • Patent number: 5752724
Abstract: A coupling device for ducts comprises locking elements movably mounted in a circumferential succession on an end flange of a first duct having a longitudinal axis, moving member for moving said locking elements from a first position to a second position where said locking elements are engaged with an end flange of a second duct to keep it against the end flange of the first duct, elastically stressed floating ring seal members housed in a sliding and oscillating manner in a respective seat provided in the end flange of the first duct. Each locking element comprises a jaw rotatable around a rotation axis which is parallel to the longitudinal axis of the first duct. The moving member comprises a ring rotatably mounted on said first duct, said ring having a plurality of toothed sectors each engaged with a respective pinion fixedly mounted on a respective locking element.

  • Patent number: 4923219
Abstract: A coupling device for ducts comprises locking elements constrained to the flange of a first duct which are connected to movement means to move them toward or away from the flange of a second duct. The movement means are actuated by a thrust ring which is rotated around the axis of the first duct. Along the contact side of the flange of the first duct are provided elastically stressed seals which interact between the flange of the first duct and the flange of said connected duct. Said seals consist of floating rings running and oscillating in recesses made in the flange, said floating rings being acted upon by elastic elements inserted in said recesses.

  • Patent number: 4722557
Abstract: A quick connection device has a supporting structure for connection elements constrained to the union body by means of radial engagement members engaged in a movable manner with a substantially spherical reaction surface of the union body. In this manner any coplanarity defect or difference in thickness of the end flange of the pipe to be connected is compensated for through appropriate rotation of the supporting structure of the quick connection device along said spherical surface.

  • Patent number: 4652016
Abstract: The union is made up of two parts normally locked together by at least one radial screw with sized cross section. Under severe pulling stress applied to the union from the outside the locking screw breaks and frees the two parts of the union, which separate together with the pipes to which they are attached. Under normal working conditions elastically stressed sealing devices ensure maintenance of watertightness between the union parts.

  • Patent number: 4577833
Abstract: The fitting comprises a tubular outer casing provided with a fixed inlet portion and an axially movable outlet portion. Inside the casing there is provided a releasable connection system, which in response to a strong stress of mutual removal of said casing portions causes the axial removal of said outlet portion, eventually in combination with the moving of a shutter to a closing position of said inlet portion.

  • Patent number: 4509718
Abstract: A ball valve includes a ball with rotary-translatory movement fitted in a duct section. A control device allows to execute the valve closure through the continuous rotation of a single control shaft, firstly with a movement of single rotation and then with a movement of single translation.

  • Patent number: 4501294
Abstract: An operation member can be driven to move along a rectilinear path, which is perpendicular and laterally positioned with respect to a rotating control shaft of a first controlled member and directed towards a control element of a second controlled member. There are provided movement transmission means provided with clearance, which firstly transform an initial advancement of the operation member into a rotation of said rotating shaft and then, while maintaining stationary the same shaft, allow said operation member a final advancement up to the operation engagement with said control element.

  • Patent number: 4426063
Abstract: The pipe fitting includes a movable seat equipped with an appendix enagageable from its front side by the mouth during the approach of the pipe fitting to the mouth. As a result of such engagement, the movable seat moves to a latching position to put itself on a flange portion of the mouth and to keep the latter in close contact with the end of the pipe fitting. In the meantime the movable seat releases an elastically stressed bar which in its turn unlocks a check-valve in the fitting, allowing to open. Once it is free, the bar keeps moreover the movable seat in its latched position.

  • Patent number: 4354522
Abstract: In order to connect a stationary pipe to a movable pipe, a flexible connecting system includes a pipe section of rigid material fixed to one of said pipes, a pipe section of flexible material fixed to the other of said pipes and an interposed connecting pipe section of rigid material connected to said rigid section so as to be movable in one direction in reply to a tensile stress exerted onto said flexible section. Said connecting pipe section is divided into two parts releasably connected to one another by a quick-release connecting device, which, in case of tensile stress, collides with a stationary structure, which causes release of said device.

  • Patent number: 4138149
Abstract: This invention relates to a pipe element designed for rapid connection to a pipe provided with a thermal flange, and provided with new terminal hydraulic seal means which ensure a perfect durable hydraulic seal in the connection region. Said seal means comprise an axially slidable tubular member provided with an inwardly facing terminal flange and having a first annular gasket of greater diameter disposed around said tubular member and a second annular gasket of smaller diameter disposed on the front of said terminal flange of the tubular member.
