  • Patent number: 5638146
Abstract: The invention relates to collapsible spectacles provided with two arms (4) connected to a flat lens frame (2) and which can be folded into a collapsed configuration in which they are coplanar and situated side-by-side with the lens frame (2), one at an upper long side and another at a lower long side of said lens frame (2). Each arm (4) comprises a first segment (5), constrained at a first hinge (6) to a halfway point of a smaller side of the lens frame (2), and being of about half a length of said smaller side, and a second segment (7) hinged to the first segment (5) and having a perpendicular axis to the axis of the first hinge (6).

  • Patent number: 4606621
Abstract: A device for adjusting the inclination of a temple rod with respect to the front part of an eyeglass frame comprises a hinge element by which the temple rod is articulated to the front part of the frame which has an elongated cavity facing the inner surface of the rod upon which a pair of frustoconical pins is mounted to project into the cavity. One of the pins is based upon a seat formed by the hinge element while the other pin is engaged by a pair of screws which adjust the angle of inclination as one or the other is backed out and the remaining screw advanced.

  • Patent number: 4386832
Abstract: The subject of the invention is represented by adjustable luminous intensity sun glasses of the type employing two pairs of polarizing lenses set before one another one pair of which is made up of two identical mobile synchronically rotating lenses which rotate on their axes in respect of the other pair whose lenses are fixed. The two fixed lenses are assembled onto an external frame component, equipped with stems and especially designed dap components relative to the internal side; the set may be adopted as a normal pair of glasses with polarizing lenses. The two mobile lenses are assembled--with the possibility of synchronous rotation around their axes--onto an inside frame component which is equipped with dap seats.

  • Patent number: 4163607
Abstract: This invention refers to an auxiliary lenses unit for glasses, for example colored lenses, to superpose on the generally graduated lenses of a normal pair of glasses. Said unit includes a central body on which a pair of auxiliary lenses hang, by means of a suitable bridge member which can rotate in respect of said central body; this central body is provided with two pairs of pincers, to fix the auxiliary lenses unit to the glasses, whose opening is operated by an element which is integral with one of the two extensions forming each pair of pincers and which acts on it in such a way as to cause, by a manual push, the opening of the pincers owing to the elasticity of the material the above-mentioned central body is made of.
