  • Patent number: 11986172
Abstract: A device (1) for collecting samples of biological tissue, comprising a needle (3) and a cannula (4), positioned at a distal end (5) of the device (1) and coaxially arranged along an axis (A) and slidable with respect to each other along the axis (A); a covering sheath (6), surrounding the needle (3) and the cannula (4); and an actuating mechanism (7), positioned at a proximal end (8) of the device (1) and connected to the needle (3) and the cannula (4) for moving the needle (3) and the cannula (4) in the sheath (6); wherein the actuating mechanism (7) is connected to the needle (3) and the cannula (4) by respective flexible operation cables (10a, 10b), capable of transmitting axial forces in both directions.

  • Publication number: 20220265449
Abstract: A stent comprising a hollow tubular body, for instance made of polymeric material, extending along and about a longitudinal axis between two opposite open axial ends and having a substantially cylindrical lateral wall delimiting a longitudinal inner conduit; the body comprising a plurality of deformable sections arranged in succession along the axis; each section comprises a plurality of longitudinal portions of the lateral wall and a plurality of radial cuts formed through the lateral wall and which separate the longitudinal portions from one another.

  • Patent number: 11413178
Abstract: An intragastric balloon comprises a bag body, provided with an internal cavity shaped to contain a filling fluid, and a valve having a valve body provided with a through inner conduit for feeding the filling fluid into the cavity; the valve body is flexible and elastically deformable, being made of an elastic material; and is arranged inside the bag body and shaped so as to elastically deform until it occludes the conduit following a pressure exerted on an outer surface of the valve body by the filling fluid contained in the cavity.

  • Patent number: 9504434
Abstract: A craniostat for an extraoral dental radiographic apparatus includes an upper portion connected to a lower portion by rods. The upper portion includes a crossbeam and rests for a patient's temples, the rests being formed by two arches articulated with the crossbeam. The arches lean on the patient's temples, and are blocked by a control system, which, in one embodiment, is configured as oscillating levers. The blocking action is caused by shape friction generated at the time of activation via the control levers. A method of use of a craniostat is also described.
