Abstract: The level of chemical treatment baths is automatically, compensated, in film developing machines. A vessel (90) contains a supply of water which is directed by a pump (50) and a pipeline (51) through a manifold (7) to baths (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) by way of feed pipelines (71, 72, 73, 74, 75). Each pipeline is controlled by respective solenoid valve (61, 62, 63, 64, 65) controlled to operate simultaneously with the pump (50) by way of an electronic control unit (41) in receipt of signals relayed from sensors (21, 22, 23, 24, 25) designed to detect a drop in the level of the solutions in the baths (11, 12, 13, 14, 15). The feed outlets of the pipelines (71, 72, 73, 74 75) discharge above the level of the baths (11, 12, 13, 14, 15) so as to prevent any possibility of reflux.

Abstract: A device for automatically loading a roll of film into a developing machine includes an external casing and a sliding drawer set in motion by a drive. The drawer has a longitudinal gap. A shuttle housing the roll of film, a product bar code reader, elements by which the shuttle is guided, respectively, in a longitudinal direction and a transverse direction, and a cutter by which the end of the film is trimmed square, are disposed to one side of the gap. A sheath accommodating the film leader is disposed on the other side of the gap. The casing also houses a vertical baffle supporting reels of adhesive tape. As the table slides into the casing, the film is automatically trimmed, brought into correct matching association with the leader and then spliced by portions of adhesive tape applied to both sides of the film and the leader.

Abstract: A machine (3) for developing and printing photographic material continously and automatically is composed of modules (4, 5, 6, 7) allowing easy mutual assembly and separation. The basic structure of such a machine comprises a module (4) for printing from film onto paper surmounting a print developing module (5). The print developing module is in turn positioned alongside a module (6) housing devices by which prints emerging from the developing module (5) are dried, as well as containers holding the liquids used to regenerate and replenish various chemical treatment baths. An additional module (7) for developing film can be positioned on top of the drier module (6). The print module (4) is also hinged at the bottom along one side or the outer edge of the module (5) below in such a way as to tilt clear and allow easy access to the inside of the machine (3) for the purposes of cleaning and servicing.

Abstract: A device for application to photographic printing machines, by which sheets of light-sensitive paper cut from strip are advanced and positioned at a print station and then transferred to a successive developing machine, wherein the device (5) affording the printing surface is capable of traversing movement in the transverse direction, supported slidably on suitable guides and translated along the guides by drive means activated by means controlled in turn by means capable of sensing and determining an exact selected position, all of which conventional, the alternating transverse movements of the device (5) affording the printing surface being such that sheets of light-sensitive paper (A1, B1, C1, D1) exhibiting width less than half the working width of the maximum print size handled by the machine are transferred after printing directly to the successive developing machine arranged in alternation and in co-ordinated sequence on two or more parallel conveying lanes.

Abstract: Equipment and process to supply winding tubes to individual reeling stations of a textile machine, and to carry out the subsequent insertion of a new winding tube between the bobbin holder arms of a collection station. The equipment comprises an accumulator device to position a number of reserve winding tubes in a spaced and aligned condition enabling transfer of an individual winding device axially to a collecting user device; a belt or cable transfer device for transferring the winding tube in axial position, to a winding station upon request by the winding station, or on a time preceding request; and a device for intercepting, collecting and inserting a new winding tube between the bobbin holder arms of the winding station.

Abstract: An improved device to piece-up yarn and doff yarn packages on open-end spinning machines. The device comprises a carriage (12) equipped with specific means for the tasks of piecing-up yarn and doffing yarn packages, said carriage being supported cantilever-wise by an arm (13) secured to a trolley (15) able to run on lengthwise guides (17), said carriage (12) being equipped with an arm (20) to hold tubes which cooperates with a store (18) of tubes.

Abstract: A belt monitoring apparatus for an automatic firing weapon supplied by a cartridge belt and equipped with a pivotable support element, which support element possesses a work position and a rest position, and wherein the trigger of the firing weapon only can be rocked in the work position of the support element into its actuation position and in which work position the support element is retained for such length of time as there are cartridges at the region of a feeler element. A lever system is provided in order to manually rock the support element out of its rest position into its work position.
