  • Publication number: 20070028427
Abstract: A continuous loop clamp includes an endless loop shaped body providing a central opening in which a device for clamping is positionable. The body includes a continuous interior surface defining the opening and an exterior surface. The entire continuous interior surface contacts the device when the clamp is applied. The clamp also includes an aperture defined in the body from the interior surface to the exterior surface. The device is inserted into the opening along an axis and the body can be deformed at the aperture to decrease the size of the opening. No portion of the body substantially projects radially outwardly of the exterior surface, either before the body is deformed or after the body is deformed.

  • Patent number: 6161732
Abstract: A push-button applicable to the stem (3) of a pump (4) for delivering liquids or creams under pressure. The push-button includes a cylindrical cavity into which there extends a shutter (10), the free end of which lies opposite a discharge nozzle (8) formed in an elastically flexible body (7) secured to a piston (13) movable on the shutter (10) by the effect of the pressure delivered by the pump.

  • Patent number: 5862955
Abstract: A creamy substance dispenser has a substantially rigid casing bounding a cylindrical chamber fillable with a creamy substance. A movable piston is slidable on the surface of the chamber for sealingly closing one end of the chamber. A dispensing chamber is separated from the cylindrical chamber by a transverse wall having apertures communicating the cylindrical chamber with the dispensing chamber and appendices projecting about the apertures. A profiled body formed of an elastically deformable material is fixed to the rigid casing and defines an outwardly facing portion of the dispensing chamber. The profiled body has a delivery hole and at least one rib projecting in proximity to the delivery hole and securely engaged with the appendices. A non-return valve has an appendix shaped to seal the delivery hole, and is positioned in the dispensing chamber to prevent return flow of creamy substance in the dispensing chamber to the cylindrical chamber.

  • Patent number: 5779106
Abstract: An atomized liquid dispenser, comprising a pump and a dispensing head mounted on the stem of the pump, the head defining a chamber communicating with the stem and housing a movable piston urged by a spring to close a discharge nozzle provided at one end of the chamber. From the head there extends a skirt in which cuts are provided which define a flexible tang engaging one end of said piston projecting from said chamber. From the inner surface of the tang there projects a cam which, when the pump is operated, interferes with the pump or with an element rigid with it, to cause the tang to flex outwards and axially entrain the piston, so withdrawing it from the discharge nozzle.

  • Patent number: 5577640
Abstract: A creamy substance dispenser is formed from a small number of components of easy and economical construction and assembly. The dispenser includes a main body defining a metering chamber communicating with a creamy substance container, within the chamber there being sealedly slidable a piston from which is projected a hollow stem extending into a hollow appendix projecting from a skirt rigid with the main body. The appendix is provided with a discharge hole closable by the end of said stem and biased by a spring, the stem freeing said discharge hole when made to translate by manual action.

  • Patent number: 5558258
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing atomized fluids under pressure and provided with a shut-off element operated by the pressurized fluid. The dispenser includes a compression chamber housing a movable piston from which there projects an appendix which, when in a rest state, is urged by a spring to seal a discharge hole provided in a body closing the chamber, which communicates with a seat into which the end of the stem of a pressurized fluid pump can be inserted. When the fluid pressure within the chamber overcomes the resistance of the spring, the piston moves and the appendix frees the discharge hole. That end of the piston close to the appendix is slidable in a sealed manner within a cavity in a bush and a communication duct between the compression chamber and the discharge hole is freed only when the end of the piston emerges from the bush cavity on withdrawing.

  • Patent number: 5492251
Abstract: A pressurized fluid dispenser is adapted to be fitted unto the stem of a fluid delivery pump. A skirt portion is flexibly connected to the remaining portion of the dispenser. A tongue projects from the skirt portion. The tongue may be pressed to flex the skirt portion inwardly. A tooth on the outer surface of the free end of the skirt portion project outwardly. The tooth is snap-engageable with an annular rib which projects into the interior of an aperture in the top of a ring cap adapted to attach the fluid delivery pump to a container mouth.

  • Patent number: 4511064
Abstract: The invention relates to a dispensing valve cap assembly for fluid materials under pressure with a warranty seal. The valve includes a body made of plastic material attachable within the inlet of a container for the material to be dispensed and the cap is passed through by a conduit opening at one end thereof into a seat for accommodating the free end of the valve stem, and at the other end thereof into an outlet nozzle for the material to be dispensed. The cap has integral therewith via breakable finger-like elements a skirt extending to the valve, and the valve body has projecting therefrom an inner cylindrical wall adjacent to the skirt and a tubular wall defining a cylindrical cavity with the valve stem and having at least one inward projecting rib.

  • Patent number: 4434916
Abstract: The invention relates to a pump applicable to containers holding a substance to be delivered or dispensed under pressure, which pump is manually operable. The pump includes a hollow stem movable within a hollow body, urged out of the latter by a spring and retained therein by a ring sealingly connectable or hookable on a ring nut which can be secured on the mouth or inlet member of a substance container. A seal of H-cross-section is mounted and movable on the stem and by its lips seals on the inner surface of the hollow body, on the outer surface of the stem, on a tubular extension projecting from the above mentioned ring, and respectively in either of two annular grooves presented by the stem or bodies associated therewith. On moving between such grooves during the movement of the stem, the seal closes or clears a channel through which the pressure substance can exit as previously sucked within the hollow body, which bears on the outward facing surface of an annular edge projecting from the ring nut.

  • Patent number: 4228931
Abstract: Pump that can be applied on a container and manually operable to deliver or dispense a liquid in an atomized form. The pump comprises a hollow stem for liquid delivery or dispensing, on which a sealing gasket is mounted and downward urged by a spring. A groove communicating through holes with the cavity of the stem is provided on the lower end of the latter. The gasket, normally sealing on the stem below said groove, when upward moved upon operation of the pump, has its lower edge suddenly bent inwardly of the groove, when arriving thereat, thus suddenly and completely communicating the passage of the pressure liquid to said holes of the stem.
