Abstract: The invention relates to a vasodilation assembly for facilitating intravenous cannulation. The assembly comprises: (i) a flexible plastics sleeve (10); (ii) a heated air supply; and (iii) a conduit for conveying heated air from the air supply into the flexible plastics sleeve. The sleeve comprises an air inlet opening (12) for coupling to the conduit, and an opening (14) for accepting an appendage of a patient. The flexible plastics sleeve (10) is of a double-walled construction comprising transparent inner and outer sleeve layers (16, 18).

Abstract: A spindle for mounting a roll of wiping material thereon. The spindle has a longitudinal extension and direction and includes a body and at least three elongated spring elements extending along the longitudinal direction. The body has a center section adapted to hold the roll, and each elongated spring element has a first end and a second end. The spindle is adapted to hold the roll and to be rotated about an essentially horizontal axis. The at least three elongated spring elements are arranged for stabilizing the roll on the center section. The first end and the second end of each spring element are fixedly attached to the body such that the spring elements are fixedly positioned in the longitudinal direction on the body. A holder for a roll of wiping material comprising such a spindle is also presented.

Abstract: A dispenser assembly 1 including a dispenser 2 for hygienic articles and a mounting bracket 16 for releasably attaching the dispenser 2 to a wall. The dispenser 2 includes a container 4 provided with a dispensing aperture 6 for the hygienic articles and a first side portion adapted to be positioned adjacent the mounting bracket 16. Further the dispenser assembly includes a connecting arrangement for connecting the dispenser 2 to the mounting bracket 16. The connecting arrangement includes a locking interconnection 28 for securely holding the first side portion of the container 4 against the mounting bracket 16 and a guiding interconnection 42 for initially positioning the dispenser 2 in relation to the mounting bracket 16 during mounting of the dispenser 2 to the mounting bracket 16.

Abstract: The present invention provides an exercise device comprising a rigid solid body or a rigid hollow body having a first surface for contacting the instep of the foot of a user and a second surface for contacting a floor surface, wherein the first and second surfaces are configured so that rolling the second surface over a floor surface causes at least a part of the first surface to rise with respect to the floor surface.

Abstract: The invention relates to a pilfer-proof dispenser for storing first aid items that may comprise a kit. The dispenser comprises a support and at least one cassette securely attached to a first aid item, said cassette being removably attached to said support by attachment means and being further provided with first locking means distinct from said attachment means. The dispenser further comprises a locking bar having second locking means to lock the cassette into a non-movable position on the support, said bar being moveable with respect to the support between a first position wherein said second locking means cooperates with said first locking means of said cassette to lock said cassette in said non-movable position and a second position wherein said first and second locking means do not lock said cassette. The support is further provided with means to restrict movement of the locking bar from said first position.

Abstract: An assembly (1) for displaying and dispensing a pharmaceutical liquid contained in a single-use container (3), wherein said assembly (1) comprises: a dispenser comprising a frame (30) to hold said container (3) in a display position; and at least a single-use container (3) comprising a vessel (2) and a detachable closure element (6) which, once detached, defines an outlet to said vessel (2). The assembly (1) further comprises coupling means provided onto the container (3) and the detachable closure element (6) to mount the detachable closure element (6) onto the dispenser. The dispenser further comprises serving means to detach the closure element (6) from said vessel (3). These serving means are actuated by a lever and comprise a handle (33). The invention further relates to the said individual single-use containers as well as dispensers as described above.

Abstract: The invention relates to a fish hook remover to help the removal of a fish hook embedded in a human body part, said fish hook being provided with a barbed portion, a curved portion and a shank portion having an extremity, wherein said fish hook remover comprises: (i) a base; (ii) an engaging member to engage the curved portion of the hook; (iii) a resting surface provided within said base to receive and hold a part of the shank portion of the fish hook; and (iv) securing means to hold said shank portion in position with respect to said base. The invention further relates to a kit comprising said fish hook remover and to a method of removing a fish hook embedded in a human body.

Abstract: A display device for use in a vehicle is disclosed. The display device includes a display carrier and a display unit, where the display carrier is configured to contain the display unit, and at least one fixture element operable to releasably attach the display device to a surface. The display unit includes at least two visible indicators adapted to provide a user of the vehicle with visual information relating to a correct and an incorrect orientation of the vehicle on a driving surface.
