  • Patent number: 9973039
Abstract: A power receiver includes a resonant circuit generating an internal supply voltage. A voltage rectification circuit receives the internal supply voltage and generate a corresponding rectified voltage. A voltage regulator receives the rectified voltage and a modulation signal and is configured to generate a corresponding regulated voltage. A controlled voltage-to-current converter receives the regulated voltage and the modulation signal. The converter operates to deliver, through an output line of the power receiver, an output current having a DC value corresponding to the DC value of said regulated voltage and having an AC value corresponding to said modulation signal.

  • Patent number: 7893662
Abstract: A device, such as a pump capacitor or an energy storing inductor, is charged by coupling it to a voltage source. Thereafter, the device is connected in parallel to one of the capacitors or capacitance cells to be charged, and the charging of the device and successive connections of it in parallel to a selected capacitor of the series of capacitors for charging it are replicated for all the capacitors of the series. The sequence of different connections of the device to the charge voltage source and to the selected one of the capacitors of the series is actuated through a plurality of coordinately controlled switches that establish distinct current circulation paths, according to a switched-capacitor or switched inductor techniques driven by respective periodic control signals that may be generated from a master clock signal.

  • Patent number: 6118642
Abstract: An electronic regulator for driving a power device connected to an output load having a first portion and a second protection portion, the first portion including a controlled switching element connected upstream of the power device and controlled by a timer adapted to be operated in a short circuit or overload situation of the device, such that the load current can flow in the power device in a pulsed state clocked by the timer.
