  • Publication number: 20220071614
Abstract: A procedure for manufacturing an undershirt provided with a trunk, two sleeves, and a collar, includes providing a circular knitting machine using seamless technology; constructing a first tubular fabric element using said machine, where said first tubular element comprises a front side, a rear side, an upper edge, and a lower edge; drawing cutting lines on said first tubular element, during construction; cutting said first tubular element along said cutting lines to separate portions of fabric of said first tubular element to create flaps of fabric belonging to the front side and to the rear side of the first tubular element; and joining with stitches the flaps of said portions of fabric obtained with said cutting lines to create at least the two sleeves and the trunk of said undershirt from said first tubular element.

  • Patent number: 11103342
Abstract: Medical device made of biomaterial, for implant-based breast reconstruction, having a flat original shape of plane geometry, with sections, which sutured together define the front part, lateral, upper and lower of a box element, at least one of the aforesaid sections having at least one appendix adapted to define the rear part of the box element, said box element being adapted to wrap and contain integrally a breast prosthesis, said box element being configured to be interposed between the subcutaneous layer and the pectoralis major muscle and being suturable to the latter.

  • Publication number: 20210145649
Abstract: A device for postoperative compression of breast skin following breast reconstruction surgery includes a female garment that supports the breast, and wherein each cup of the garment contains inflatable modules with defined pressure gradients that generate different compressive orthogonal vectors on the four quadrants of the breast, leaving the areola-nipple complex free. The inflatable tubular modules have a shape resembling a truncated cone with variable thickness that is minimum in the area closest to the areola-nipple complex, and maximum in the area furthest away from the areola-nipple complex. The inflatable modules can be inflated separately. The device is made up of non-elastic tissue preventing the cups from moving away from breast skin when air chambers are inflated, and includes two non-elastic tissue straps that cross on the spine and close on the front. In the two sub-axillary areas, a Velcro clasp allows operation even when postoperative drainage is in place.
