Abstract: A process for the production of high-resiliency rigid composite material includes the steps of mixing and dispersing compounds in a molten state in a mixer. The compounds include polymers of isotactic propylene, modifying polymers, compatibility promoters, additives, and fillers, wherein the fillers have unit component dimensions in the range of 10?3 mm-10?6 mm and the process provides for a temperature in the range of 120-230° C. and a rotation rate of the screws that compose the mixer comprised in the range of 125-1250 rpm.

Abstract: A process for the continuous and discontinuous production of polycaprolactam is disclosed which includes the step of polymerizing, by anionic polymerization, .epsilon.-caprolactam to which suitable initiators and activators are added. The process may optionally include the addition of comonomers, pigments, electroconductive fillers, modifying polymers, inorganic fillers, reinforcing fibers, inorganic fillers and/or other additives to a dispersing media in which the polymerization takes place with polycaprolctam, copolymers or composites thereof being obtained in the form of particles. The foregoing additives may, for example, be added to the dispersing media dropwise with mechanical or convective stirring under controlled temperature conditions.
