Abstract: An apparatus for hemming tridimensional textile fabric articles of manufactures and in particular bras, comprises a first machine for applying an adhesive strip on an edge of a fabric material, at a variable distance from a reference element, and a second machine for folding and sealing the fabric material portion on which the adhesive has been applied. The method to be carried out by the apparatus comprises the following steps: a first step of applying an adhesive strip at a fixed distance, but with a variable size, to the free fabric material, by flush cutting the latter; the adhesive being located with its paper support according to the fabric piece shape; a second step of detaching the paper material from the adhesive and trimming the assembly; and a third folding step for folding the textile portion with the adhesive applied thereto and seaming it on the portion to be hemmed.

Abstract: An apparatus for applying and adhesive substance to a fabric strip comprises a supporting framework provided for supporting one or more adhesive tape coil constituted by a paper support supporting an adhesive substance, and at least a textile fabric support coil or bobbin, and transfer means for transferring the adhesive substance from the paper support therefor to the fabric support at one or more sides thereof.

Abstract: An apparatus for making cloth articles of manufacture and the like comprises a bearing framework including a working or processing region, where a fabric tubular element is arranged, and comprising cutting means for cutting said tubular element, said cutting means being adapted to provide a cut-through edge and hemming means for applying an adhesive strip to the cut through edge.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus for finishing the edge of a garment fabric and the like, including, on a bearing framework, a guide element for guiding an adhesive strip, leading to a top wheel and a bottom wheel. Said top and bottom wheels operate, at a base defining a working surface, on an edge portion of a fabric to apply the adhesive strip thereto. Heating means for heating the adhesive strip and cooling means for cooling the made piece are moreover provided.

Abstract: A machine for folding and pressing the internal flaps of seams comprises a heated plate 1 in the body of which are fomed separate chambers 6, 7, 8 respectively connected to a steam generator, a suction system and a cold air blower. These chambers communicate with a pressing surface of the plate itself through a series of holes. Facing the pressing surface of the plate 1 is a floating platen structure 2 having a corresponding series of holes 9 able to put into communication with the exterior two chambers 10, 11 in the floating platen structure fronting, each chamber being separated into two parts by a partition 12 which divides it into two distinct portions.

Abstract: A trousers ironing machine is provided with devices for automatically picking up trousers at the end of the ironing process and successively orderly gathering them. The machine comprises essentially a pair of side-by-side flat structures each including two portions of elongate shape which are arranged sequentially lengthwise. The two elongate portions can be moved toward and away from each other and jointly rotated through 180.degree. about an intermediate axis extending orthogonally to the plane of lay. Positioned above each flat structure is an ironing platen which is suitably set up to apply an appropriate pressure to the structure, a sliding gripper being arranged below the structure for gripping the ironed trousers and pulling them out of the structure.

Abstract: The machine comprises a fixed dummy for receiving an article of clothing having a collar and lapels, and an upper mold supported by a support structure such as to be pivotable about a horizontal axis adjacent the dummy. The upper mold has a configuration substantially matching that of the dummy and a lug-shaped front portion extending downwardly. The support structure is vertically displaceable by a fluid-operated cylinder between a position in which the upper mold is spaced from the dummy and a position in which the upper mold contacts the dummy and is pressed against it. Abstract: An improved machine for ironing of the collars and lapels of articles of clothing includes a dummy secured on a shaft rotatable about a vertical axis, a first mould disposed laterally of the dummy and movable orthogonally to the rear portion of the dummy and having a shaped configuration to coincide with the lapels of the article of clothing, and a second mould disposed vertically above the dummy and movable in a direction coinciding with the axis of the dummy and having a shaped configuration to coincide with the upper portion of the dummy for ironing of the rear portion and lateral parts of the collar.
