  • Publication number: 20030184786
Abstract: A device generates images (50) which are displayed on a monitor (44) and transmitted to a printer (41); the images (50) are printed on a physical medium (46), in horizontal strips (51), in such a way that the time to print each band (51) overlaps with the time to acquire new images (50).

  • Publication number: 20030137678
Abstract: A device generates images (50) which are displayed on a monitor (44) and transmitted to a printer (41); the images (50) displayed on the monitor (44) comprise a figure (60) and a data field (61) consisting of clear writings on a dark background, whereas the modified images (52), printed on the physical medium (46), comprise once again the figure (60) and a modified data field (62) consisting of dark writings on a clear background.

  • Patent number: 4554594
Abstract: The apparatus comprises an optical scanning device for scanning elements or portions of an image or for providing corresponding electrical image signals which are fed to a plurality of threshold comparator circuits where they are compared with respective reference signals which define a scale of half tones. The apparatus further includes a digital-signal generator circuit arranged to generate a plurality of digital signal combinations each of which is indicative of a respective predetermined matrix pattern of white or black points associated with a respective half tone of the scale. This generator circuit, in operation, outputs the combination of digital signals relating to the pattern associated with the half tone currently indicated by the signals provided by the threshold comparator circuits.
