  • Patent number: 4751905
Abstract: The device substantially comprises an upper body in which is formed a first perforation in communication with an air intake opening and delimited by a first conical surface and a support element for a fuel atomisation and metering valve having a tubular form and connected to the first conical surface by means of a pair of ribs disposed substantially in the plane which contains the axis of the first conical surface. The device further includes a lower body in which is formed a second perforation delimited by a second conical surface coaxial with the first and which is in communication with a mixture supply opening, the cone angle of the second conical surface being greater than that of the first conical surface.

  • Patent number: 4569321
Abstract: A carburetor is provided which has a main barrel in which there is a throttle which turns integrally with a shaft. An idle system opens into the main barrel through three holes; and a lever is splined to the shaft and connected to the accelerator to open the throttle against the action of a spring. Stop devices operate on the lever to define a first position of the throttle for which the holes are upstream. A second lever is idle mounted on the shaft. This second lever uses pushers and operates against the action of a rod positioned by a rotating cam with an electromagnetic element, or electronic gear box to rotate the first lever. This second lever defines, when the accelerator is released, small opening positions of the throttle differing from the first position. A microprocessor gearbox processes the signals expressing the functioning conditions of the engine to operate the electromagnetic element or electronic gear box.

  • Patent number: 4502436
Abstract: Disclosed is a carburetor containing an electromagnetic device for stopping a first lever, the first lever positions a throttle valve in one of two positions, each of which produces a small but different opening amount for the throttle valve. A common housing contains the electromagnetic device and an electronic control circuit operating it. A second lever operated by an accelerator pedal moves the first lever through a lost motion mechanism.
