  • Patent number: 5352389
Abstract: The invention discloses compositions in the form of aqueous solutions or O/W emulsions for the cleaning of skin, scalp and hair, characterized in that they contain from 0.5 to 5% w/v of at least one water soluble organic base chosen in the group consisting of low molecular weight saturated aliphatic alkylamines, their hydroxy derivatives, low molecular weight primary alkylenediamines, basic aminoacids. Said water soluble organic base are buffered at pH 7-9. The cleaning efficacy of said preparations may be increased by adding lipases in a quantity ranging from 0.1 to 1% w/v. According to a further embodiment of the invention, said compositions can be comprised of detergents in a quantity not exceeding 4% w/v. The compositions are endowed of the property of cleaning the skin in a delicate manner, with a good local tolerability.

  • Patent number: 5126331
Abstract: Compositions for topical use containing as active ingredients depolymerized deoxyribonucleic acids can be used for the reduction of the unaesthetisms of the face skin, due to the couperose. Said compositions can be advantageously used also to locally reduce, in the lower limbs, the skin unaesthetisms (dilated capillaries, oedemas, tumefactions), resulting from a situation of an extended physical stress acting on the above-mentioned legs.

  • Patent number: 5053230
Abstract: A cosmetic preparation is described as comprising at least an effective amount of a nutrient medium for the in vitro culture of isolated human epithelial cells and a related amount of serum of bovine fetus. The preparation is particularly active as a revitalizing agent for the skin, as an anti-wrinkle agent and as a factor for enhancing hair growth. The activity of the aforesaid nutrient medium can be furthermore enhanced by adding extractive mixtures, obtained from the connective tissues of animal organs, mainly mucopolysaccharides.
