Publication number: 20230240267Abstract: An adaptive harness includes a neck girth loop and a torso girth loop. Each loop has lateral arcs on opposite sides of and extending in directions substantially parallel to a sagittal plane. Each of the lateral arcs has an adjustable length. The loops are connected to one another ventrally and dorsally. The harness further includes a tension force transfer path that extends circumferentially along the neck girth loop from a tension force redirector, or ring, on the neck girth loop in the sagittal plane through the lateral arcs of the neck girth loop. The harness further includes a tension force conduit, or strap, secured along the path. When a tension force is applied to the strap outwardly from the ring, such as the pulling of a leash attaching to a leash coupling on the strap, the lengths of the lateral arcs of the neck girth loop are shortened, resulting in a better fit of the harness to the subject.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 11, 2022Publication date: August 3, 2023Inventors: GIOVANNI GUIDETTI, GAGANRAJ RIHAL

The vertical strap passes through the strap adjuster and a free end of the vertical strap can be pulled to tighten the harness portion around a user. The vertical strap may be the only adjustable strap.Type: GrantFiled: January 13, 2020Date of Patent: February 21, 2023Assignee: Easton Diamond Sports, LLCInventor: Giovanni Guidetti

Publication number: 20170311659Abstract: A chest protector for accommodating a female figure may include an upper portion sized to at least partially surround a user's bust region and having a neck opening shaped to receive a user's neck region. The chest protector may further include a lower portion sized to at least partially surround a user's abdominal region. A flexible element may connect the upper and lower portions to allow the upper portion to articulate with respect to the lower portion. The upper portion may include a breast covering section extending in an anterior direction to form a breast volume for accommodating the user's breasts or breast region. The breast volume may be formed at least in part by connecting a pair of edges positioned on opposing lateral sides of the upper portion. Optionally, the upper portion may overlap the lower portion. The chest protector may be formed from resilient foam or other materials.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 29, 2016Publication date: November 2, 2017Inventor: Giovanni Guidetti

Publication number: 20170055603Abstract: A leg guard includes an anterior shin protective panel positioned to cover at least a portion of a user's anterior shin region, a lateral protective panel positioned to cover at least a portion of the user's lateral lower leg region, and a medial protective panel positioned to cover at least a portion of the user's medial lower leg region. The panels are mounted on one or more flexible liners in a vertically segmented orientation to articulate with respect to one another. Additional protective panels may be included to protect a user's knee, thigh, or foot. A strap for a leg guard may include a buckle having a protrusion positioned to engage an elongated opening in the leg guard. The strap may bias the buckle into a tilted position, while raised surfaces near the elongated opening resist release or rotation of the buckle.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 27, 2015Publication date: March 2, 2017Inventors: Giovanni Guidetti, John Anderle, Tazo Osawa
