  • Publication number: 20230347231
Abstract: A toe-piece of a ski binding includes rotatable first and second clamping members respectively provided with first and second jaws. First and second rotatable supports rotatably bear the first clamping member and the second clamping member, respectively. In a ski descent configuration, the first and second jaws can elastically retract if solicited by a tip of a ski boot. The first clamping member has a third jaw with a first pin, while the second clamping member has a fourth jaw with a second pin. Locking means are provided which when the ski boot tip is between the third and fourth jaws, the blocking means are activatable to block the third and fourth jaws in angular blocking positions in which the first pin is inserted in a first hole of a ski boot and the second pin is inserted in a second hole of the ski boot, making walking uphill possible.

  • Patent number: 11701571
Abstract: A rear portion of a ski mountaineering binding includes a base, a turret rotatable with respect to the base, a brake fixable to the ski for braking the ski, first elastic element arranged to exert a force to bring the brake into a braking configuration, and a hooking member borne by the base and having a hook for hooking the brake. The hooking member has engaged and disengaged configurations. A second elastic element pushes the hooking member into the engaged configuration. A cam borne by the turret has a pusher borne by the base, activatable by the cam and movable along a second movement path. The hooking member includes an abutment for abutting the pusher and is activatable by the turret via the cam and the pusher, to assume the disengaged configuration and alternately the engaged configuration.

  • Patent number: 9233295
Abstract: The invention is a device for removably blocking a central-front part of a ski boot to a ski platform for actuating a Telemark technique. The boot sole (51) forms, at a bottom thereof, two lateral edges, internal and external (52A, 52B). A plate (1) is blockable to the ski platform, a blocking device (17, 18) constrained to the plate, which bear at least two ratchets. The ratchets are associated with the bottom of the boot supported by the plate, to corresponding edges of the internal edge (52A) and external edge (52B). An activator (16, 24) for the blocking device is supported by the plate, defining two configurations of the blocking device, respectively inoperative (11), with a disengagement of the ratchets from the corresponding edges (52A, 52B) and operative (12), with a blocking of the two edges against the plate (1).

  • Patent number: 8388013
Abstract: A heel piece for an alpine ski attachment comprises a base element (1), fastenable to a ski (S), an upper element (2), coupled to the base element (1), and a pair of rotatable arms for hooking to a shaped portion exhibited in a rear part of an alpine ski boot. A pair of pins (32) borne by the arms (31) project from the upper element (2). An elastic element (4) maintains the pins (32) at a predetermined reciprocal distance. The elastic element is stressed by a separation of the pair of pins (32), determined by a lowering of the ski boot onto the ski and by insertion between the pins (32) of the shaped portion. The pins (32), following complete insertion of the shaped portion between the pins, lock against an upper part of the shaped portion to hook the ski boot.

Abstract: A heel piece for an alpine ski attachment comprises a base element (1), fastenable to a ski (S), an upper element (2), coupled to the base element (1), and hooking means (3) borne by the upper element (2) for hooking to a shaped portion exhibited in a rear part of an alpine ski boot. The hooking means (3) comprise a pair of arms (31), constrained to the upper element (2) in such a way as to be rotatable with respect to the upper element (2), and a pair of pins (32) borne by the pair of arms (31) in such a way as to project from the upper element (2). The heel-piece further comprises elastic means (4) associated to the upper element (2) in such a way as to be in contact with the pins (32) and to maintain the pins (32) at a predetermined reciprocal distance. The elastic means (4) are stressable by a separation of the pair of pins (32), determined by a lowering of the rear part of the ski boot onto the ski and by insertion between the pins (32) of the shaped portion exhibited in said rear part.
