  • Publication number: 20110006993
Abstract: The method is for fabricating a transparent or semi-transparent element, such as a glass (1), with capacitive touch keys, for a portable electronic instrument. This method includes the steps of placing an insulating film (3), on which are formed electrodes (2), acting as capacitive touch keys, conductive paths (4), each connected to a respective electrode, and external contact terminals (6), each connected via the conductive paths to the corresponding electrodes, in a transparent or semi-transparent plastic substance (5) in liquid form inside a mould. This liquid substance is then solidified inside the mould, to coat at least part of the film that includes the electrodes, the conductive paths and at least part of the external contact terminals of said film. Upon removal from the mould, a glass is obtained with capacitive touch keys integrated within said solidified plastic substance of the glass.

  • Publication number: 20060197442
Abstract: The invention proposes an electro-optical matrix display device (10) including at least one bottom substrate plate (12) of overall rectangular shape carrying an electro-optical layer, a series of transverse electrodes (16) and a series of longitudinal electrodes (18) forming a display matrix (11), and including a control circuit (22) which is fixed to the bottom substrate plate (12) and which includes connection pads (26) connected to the two series of electrodes (16, 18) by conductive paths (41, 42, 44, 46, 48), one part (SC) of the connection pads (26) being dedicated to addressing the columns (C) of the matrix (11) and another part (S1L, S2L) of the connection pads (26) being dedicated to addressing the lines (L) of the matrix (11), characterized in that the control circuit (22) is arranged on a longitudinal end portion (36) of the bottom substrate plate (12), and in that the connection pads (26) addressing the columns (C) are connected to the transverse electrodes (16) and the connection pads (26) address

  • Patent number: 7034278
Abstract: A movement detection device, intended particularly for a computer mouse or a hand-held scanner, includes a light source (7) associated with a prism (8) having a non-uniformly plane reflective face. One thus obtains an as uniform as possible illumination of the field (4) of the object whose movements will be detected. An optical system (9) inserted between the field and the optoelectronic sensor (13) fixed to a printed circuit board (6) is mounted on a support (12) fixed to the board.
