Abstract: An apparatus comprises a mould part having a forming chamber and a filling device for filling the forming chamber with a mouldable material. The filling device comprises an entry duct for a flow of mouldable material and air and a preliminary chamber communicating with the forming chamber. The entry duct opens into the preliminary chamber in a position such as to send the flow of mouldable material and air towards the forming chamber with a helicoidal movement, so as to separate the mouldable material from the air.

Abstract: A moulding apparatus for forming an object with a mouldable material, the moulding apparatus having a forming region delimited by a lateral surface extending around a central zone. The moulding apparatus includes a plurality of sectors defining the lateral surface, each sector having a body delimited by a forming surface, at least a first pushing device for applying, on a first sector of said plurality, a first force directed towards the central zone in a first direction, at least a second pushing device for applying, on a second sector of said plurality, a second force directed towards the central zone in a second direction, and the second direction being arranged transversely to the first direction.

Abstract: A cap for a container is made of a material at least part of which is derived from natural fibres. The cap comprises a cup-shaped body having a skirt which extends around an axis and a transversal wall arranged transversally to the axis. A cavity is defined inside the cup-shaped body. The cup-shaped body is delimited by an inner surface facing the cavity and by an outer surface facing the opposite way to the cavity. At least one projecting element projects from a surface of the cup-shaped body selected from either the inner surface or the outer surface. At least one recess is provided at the projecting element on another surface of the cup-shaped body selected from either the outer surface or the inner surface.

Abstract: An apparatus for heating preforms made of thermoplastic material includes a conveyance device for preforms having a longitudinal axis of extension intended to move the preforms along a predefined path. The apparatus further includes a heating component arranged along at least one portion of the predefined path. The heating component includes at least one heating element and at least one front reflective element, which are mutually opposite with respect to the predefined path in order to form between them a transit tunnel for the preforms. The heating element includes IR (Infra-Red) and/or NIR (Near-Infra-Red) lamps. The front reflective element includes at least one contoured plate-like body in order to form, in the direction of extension of the predefined path, an alternation of closer portions and spaced portions with respect to the predefined path that is extended substantially parallel to the axes of extension of the preforms.
