  • Patent number: 11808589
Abstract: A system and method for dynamic allocation of delivery resources is described. In an example implementation, the system may determine floating and static geographic areas based on delivery data, generate an initial mapping associating the static geographic area with addresses and/or routes, and generate one or more periodic routes based on the initial mapping. In some instances, the system may compute a route-value target for each of the periodic routes based on a load of the periodic routes and may then assign one or more floating addresses located in the one or more geographic regions to the periodic routes based on the route-value target. In some instances, the system may determine a delivery vehicle load plan based on the assignment to the routes and may automatically perform a defined operation using the delivery vehicle load plan.

  • Publication number: 20230051263
Abstract: An automated microfluidic bioreactor device and methods to rapidly detect drugs of abuse from human sweat are provided. The bioreactor can perform either single-plexed measurements (detecting only one target analyte at a time) or multiplexed measurement (detecting multiple analytes simultaneously). The bioreactor device has a cartridge comprising a capillary array that employs competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to detect the presence of various drugs or metabolite compounds. For example, four common drugs, methadone, methamphetamine, amphetamine, and tetrahydrocannabinol, were detected rapidly and quantitatively in about 16 minutes with a low sweat sample volume (about 4 ?L per analyte) and a large dynamic range (methadone: 0.0016 ng/mL-1 ng/mL; METH: 0.016 ng/mL-25 ng/mL; amphetamine: 0.005 ng/mL-10 ng/mL; THC: 0.02 ng/mL-1000 ng/mL).

  • Patent number: 10373097
Abstract: An example system may comprise a docking station remotely located from a fulfillment center, a fulfillment system, an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and an autonomous ground vehicle (AGV). The fulfillment system manages the fulfillment center and the docking station, receives a request to ship an item, determines an item transfer point based on a delivery point, and calculates a flight path to the item transfer point. The fulfillment system loads the item at the fulfillment center via a handling mechanism of the UAV and deploys the UAV to the item transfer point using the flight path. The AGV is coupled for wireless communication with the fulfillment system, the docking station, and the AGV. The item transfer point indicates a geographical location where the item is to be transferred from the UAV to one of the docking station and the AGV based on the delivery point.
