Abstract: A call center records a voice conversation between a call center agent and a customer. A call recording of the voice conversation is transcribed. When a customer provides a call center agent with sensitive information, the sensitive information is detected from the transcribed voice conversation. Upon detection of the sensitive information, the sensitive information is redacted from the call recording. Alternatively, when sensitive information is detected, a notification is provided to the call center agent to pause and resume the recording.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system for mapping data sets to fields in electronic forms to facilitate rapid entry of data. During operation, the system receives a selection of a first field in an electronic form. In response to receiving the selection of the first field, the system retrieves a first set of data items that have previously been entered into the first field. Next, the system highlights the data items in the first set of data items such that each data item in the first set of data items has a different highlight. The system then receives a selection of a first data item from the first set of data items. In response to receiving the selection of the first data item, the system receives a selection of a second field in the electronic form. Next, the system retrieves a second set of data items that have previously been entered into the second field.

Abstract: A financial management system and a user mobile computing system are provided and geo-location data indicating the position of the user mobile computing system is monitored. One or more cash transaction triggers are defined which are used to indicate that a possible cash transaction is taking place, or has taken place, involving the user. When a cash transaction trigger is detected, the geo-location of the user mobile computing system at the time of the cash transaction trigger detection is automatically recorded and used to identify/determine a business associated with, or closest to, the geo-location. A potential cash transaction entry is then automatically generated including description and/or categorization data for the potential cash transaction entry selected/determined based, at least in part, on the identified/determined business.

Abstract: A system and method for improving the accuracy of the automatic categorization of financial transactions provides a flexible and comprehensive approach to the automatic categorization of financial transactions whereby the payee data associated with the financial transaction and one or more of: data indicating the transaction amount, and how products and/or services of various kinds are typically priced; data indicating the time associated with the transaction; data indicating the time intervals between related transactions; and data indicating the transaction amount as compared to pricing data associated with the payee of the transaction, is analyzed to determine a financial category to automatically apply to the financial transactions.

Abstract: A method and system for automated insertion of relevant hyperlinks into social media-based communications whereby a business owner defines one or more trigger terms associated with the business. For each defined trigger term, one or more hyperlinks to one or more webpages associated with the business are assigned to the trigger term. Social media communications associated with one or more social media systems are then monitored, and/or scanned, for the defined one or more trigger terms and, if a trigger term is detected in the text of a social media communication, the hyperlink assigned to the detected trigger term is inserted in the text of social media communication and/or a response to the social media communication. The modified social media communication and/or response to the social media communication, including the modified text, is then sent, and/or posted, through, and/or on, the social media system.

Abstract: A method and system for providing a dynamic image verification system to confirm human input whereby a dynamic verification image that is pictorial in nature, and/or is animated, is displayed as part of a generated image verification test. The user is then asked to describe the pictorial image and/or the animation shown by the dynamic verification image and/or, in one example, respond to the dynamic verification image in a manner appropriate to the dynamic verification image. Any user entering a correct solution, i.e., describing the pictorial image and/or animated action of the dynamic verification image correctly, or, in one example, interacting with the dynamic verification image in an appropriate manner, is presumed to be a human being, and not a computing system or other automated device.

Abstract: A method for capturing identity information on a voice call, including determining that a phone call is in session on a mobile device, where the voice call is conducted between an identifying user and a target user, receiving an activation input, initiating, in response to the activation input, an audio recording of the target user on the phone call, recording a voice of the target user in the audio recording, receiving a deactivation input, concluding, in response to the deactivation input, the audio recording of the target user on the phone call, storing the audio recording of the target user, converting the audio recording into an audio recording text, parsing the audio recording text to generate the identity information of a third party, creating, for the third party, a contact including the identity information in the mobile device, and storing the contact in the mobile device.

Abstract: A method to initiate a phone call to a contact. The method includes analyzing a text message to identify a first attribute of the contact, and selecting one or more entries from a contact list stored in the mobile device by matching the first attribute of the contact to a portion of each of the one or more entries. The method also includes identifying a second attribute of the contact from the one or more entries based on a first pre-determined criterion, and modifying the text message to generate a displayed text message comprising a modified attribute that is modified from the first attribute based on the second attribute. The method also includes receiving a user selection as a first input indicating a user selected the modified attribute in response to viewing the displayed text message, and initiating the phone call to the contact based on the phone number.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a system that enables access to an online account. During operation, the system receives a login attempt containing a login for the online account through a login interface associated with the online account. Next, the system receives, from the user, user-initiated communications outside of the login interface requesting automatic access to the online account. The system then identifies the online account using the user-initiated communications. Finally, the system temporarily enables the automatic access to the online account using the login from the login attempt without requiring additional authentication information from the login attempt.

Abstract: Some embodiments provide a system that activates an online account. During operation, the system obtains, through a registration interface, authentication information for the online account from a user without obtaining contact information for the user through the registration interface. Next, the system generates an activation credential for the online account using the authentication information and displays the activation credential to the user through the registration interface. Finally, the system activates the online account upon receiving the activation credential from the user through user-initiated communications outside of the registration interface.

Abstract: A method and system for viewing and transferring data between documents whereby source data a user desires to transfer from a source document to the one or more data fields and/or locations of a given target electronic form, or other target document, is transformed into clipboard content data. The clipboard content data is then linked to a selected cursor/pointer, or other user interface device, such that the clipboard content data can be displayed along with the target electronic form, or other target document, on the same user interface screen, wherever the selected cursor/pointer is located on the user interface screen. This allows the user to quickly view and transfer the source data to the target electronic form, or other target document, within the same given user interface screen, and within a common display context, without having to toggle between the target electronic form, or other target document.

Abstract: One embodiment provides a system that uses an authenticated channel to authenticate a user. The system can register a user by storing an association between a username, a password, and a unique identifier. The system can then present a login screen to the user which includes a username field and a password field, wherein the username field is enabled and the password field is disabled. Next, the system can receive the username via the username field and receive the unique identifier over the authenticated channel. The system can then enable the password field in response to determining that the unique identifier is associated with the username. Next, the system can receive the password via the enabled password field. The system can then authenticate the user in response to determining that the password is associated with the username.

Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system for reducing the use of insecure passwords. During operation, the system receives a login request at a computer system, wherein the login request includes a username and a password. Next, the system saves the password to an attempted password list, wherein the attempted password list includes passwords that have been attempted during login. The system then receives a password change request, wherein the password change request includes a username and a new password. Next, the system determines whether the new password is a member of the attempted password list. If so, the system rejects the password change request. However, if not, the system processes the password change request.
