  • Publication number: 20240020433
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a computer implemented method for predicting at least one mechanical property of at least one composite element including at least two layers. The method includes: a) providing at least one input parameter set, where the input parameter set includes a plurality of parameters defining properties of each of the single layers; b) determining at least one geometric model of the composite element based on the input parameter set using at least one design tool; and c) determining at least one mechanical property of the geometric model of the composite element by using at least one numerical simulation, where the mechanical property includes one or more of tension property, pressure property, shear property, temperature property, and a combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20220033678
Abstract: Described herein are photocurable compositions, (A) a polyester urethane acrylate, or methacrylate (A), (B) an acrylamide, or methacrylamide component (B), and (C) a photoinitiator (C), where the polyester urethane acrylate, or methacrylate (A) is obtained by reacting (A1) a hydroxyalkylacrylate, or hydroxyalkylmethacrylate, (A2) an aliphatic diisocyanate, an aliphatic polyisocyanate, a cycloaliphatic diisocyanate, a cycloaliphatic polyisocyanate, an aromatic diisocyanate, or an aromatic polyisocyanate, or mixtures thereof, (A3) a polyester polyol, and (A4) optionally a second polyol. The compositions, from which cured three-dimensional shaped articles having high toughness, high E modulus and impact strength can be made, are particularly suitable for the production of three-dimensional articles by stereolithography.

  • Patent number: 8727383
Abstract: A telescopic vacuum cleaner suction tube (1) having an outer tube (2) and an inner tube (3) with snap-in depressions (7). The inner tube is telescopically arranged in the outer tube. The suction tube also includes an antitwisting mechanism (4d; 16) and an interlocking device with a snap-in element (15) that is disengaged from a snap-in depression (7) by an actuating element (5) situated about diametrically opposite thereof. The interlocking device includes a spring (6) that positively encompasses at least the inner tube (3) and engages the snap-in element (15) into the nearest snap-in depression (7) of the inner tube (3). The interlocking device and telescoping tubes ensure that the tubes are always securely interlocked and able to withstand shock-like compressive forces, namely while simultaneously providing for an ergonomic handling.

  • Publication number: 20070143955
Abstract: The invention pertains to a telescopic vacuum cleaner suction tube (1) with an outer tube (2), an inner tube (3) with snap-in depressions (7) that is telescopically arranged in the outer tube, an antitwisting mechanism (4d; 16) and an interlocking device with a snap-in element (15) that is disengaged from a snap-in depression (7) by an actuating element (5) situated about diametrically opposite thereof, wherein the interlocking device consists of a bow spring (6) that positively encompasses at least the inner tube (3) and once again engages the snap-in element (15) into the nearest snap-in depression (7) of the inner tube (3) in the telescoping direction under the prestress of a spring.
