Abstract: The invention described herein relates to the use of propionyl L-carnitine or one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts for the preparation of a medicine useful for the treatment of La Peyronie's disease in its various stages, particularly at the advanced stage and in forms resistant to conventional therapies. The medicine is suitable for oral, intramuscular, intravenous, and intraplaque administration. The invention described herein also relates to a combination of an active ingredient in the treatment of La Peyronie's disease, particularly verapamil, and propionyl L-carnitine or one of its pharmaceutically acceptable salts.
