Abstract: Disk brake comprising an electrical wear sensor with an electrical connector (17?), a caliper (10) having an opening (8) and at least one pin (13) fixed to the caliper between two opposite sides of the opening and means for fixing the connector (17?) to the caliper (10). To avoid special processing operations of the caliper body and to provide an easy and rapid assembly of the connector, the fixing means comprise a carrier element (20) made of shaped sheet metal that has a first part (21, 26) to which the connector (17?) is fixed and a second part (23-25) that engages with the pin (13) and the edges of the opening (8) to provide a firm attachment of the carrier element (20) to the caliper (10).

Abstract: A disc brake pad is suitable for cooperating with a fixed-caliper disc brake comprising a caliper body provided with a seat suitable for housing the pad. The pad seat is defined by a side wall with which the abutment surface of the plate of the pad is brought into abutment during braking.
