Abstract: The present invention provides a method and system for the automated generation or editing of educational or training materials whose content is based on predetermined parameters. The method and system extract information from pre-existing sources, divide the information into blocks based on the predetermined parameters, summarize the blocks' information, generate keywords, key phrases and/or confidence scores for each block of information, retrieve content from pre-existing sources using the keywords, key phrases and/or confidence scores, and assemble the retrieved content to create the educational or training materials.

The method further includes calculating a proximity score between a plurality of tasks based on the overlap of the developers' activities via software executing on a computer. The method further includes selecting and capturing a group of task properties that along with the proximity score can be used to select a group of task pairings that require coordination. The method further includes notifying the developers assigned to the task pairings selected that they may need to coordinate their development efforts.

Abstract: A method and a system for digital content sharing between individual users in a peer-to-peer fashion, wherein each user is connected to a respective local access network through a transport network. The method and system provide local network storage areas associated with each user arranged for archiving digital contents, and carry out the transferring of contents via the transport network from a storage area associated with a user holding requested contents to a remote network storage area associated with a requesting user on a different access network according to the connectivity available on the transport network. The shared contents are made available for access by the requesting user on its local network storage area. A telecommunications network architecture includes the system so that there is a plurality of services of content sharing between pairs of individual users implementing the above method.

The method and system utilize said risk impact of each task to schedule the tasks in such a way so as to reduce said risk of overall task as rapidly as possible.

In one aspect, information associated with a project is obtained and initial estimations for the tasks in the project are determined using available information. The tasks are performed and actual measurements are obtained from the completed tasks. The actual measurements are used to revise the estimates of the remaining tasks. The revised estimates are used to compute a project level estimate and a variance on that estimate, and to enable better project management.

Abstract: A method and system for scoring and ranking a plurality of component links in a social technical system having a plurality of components representing people and objects are provided. In one aspect, a degree of consistency relative to two or more people working on one or more objects and dependencies between the objects is determined to derive scores for the component links. The method and system identifies gaps in the link and determines the impact of filling the gaps. In another aspect, component links may be ranked and scores aggregated to provide system level quantifications.

A uniform implementation surface configured to interact with the effectors in transparent fashion relative to the technological implementation peculiarities of the effectors themselves. Preferably, the interface has associated therewith a repository of the effectors as well as an implementation module for selecting, instancing, invoking and managing the effectors according to the tasks implemented in the process. The related platform can be used, for instance, to manage personal messaging in a telecommunications network.
