Abstract: Folios with light guides are disclosed. In one embodiment, a folio may include: (1) a back cover comprising an interior surface and an exterior surface; (2) a front cover movably connected to the back cover, the front cover comprising an interior surface, an exterior surface, and at least one edge, the interior surface of the front cover disposed opposite the interior surface of the back cover when the folio is in a closed position; and (3) a light guide comprising a light receiving portion proximal to the interior surface of the front cover and a light emitting portion visible when the folio is in the closed position; wherein the light receiving portion receives light from a light source.

Abstract: The improved substance applicator delivery container includes a substance applicator component infused or impregnated with a desired scent, perfume, essential oil, or chemical substance and retained between two cover sheets of material that is substantially impermeable to the infused or impregnated substance. The two cover sheets are releasably bonded through a polymer adhesive surrounding the substance applicator. The substance applicator component may also be bonded to the bottom cover sheet through a semi-rigid to rigid polymer carrier component, which provides additional control for application of the substance. The polymer adhesive may be deposited in a chevron-shaped feature near the top edge of the packet to allow for controlled opening of the packet. Gripping ridges near the top edge of the packet further assist the controlled opening of the packet.

Abstract: A balanced portable device that includes a rectangular housing, a rectangular display, and a split keyboard is described. The rectangular housing has a top face and a bottom face and the rectangular display is located on the top face. The split keyboard is configured to receive input that is shown on the rectangular display. The split keyboard includes a first retractable keyboard on a first end of the bottom face and the first keyboard includes a first battery. The split keyboard also includes a second retractable keyboard on an opposing end of the bottom face and the second keyboard also includes a second battery. The first retractable keyboard and the second retractable keyboard substantially weigh the same.

Abstract: A wireless communication apparatus that comprises a wireless device and a wireless headset is described. Additionally, a method for controlling the operations of a wireless communications apparatus is also described. The wireless device is configured to communicate with at least one remote base station using at least one communication standard. The wireless device is configured to perform at least one local application by locally processing computer instructions. The wireless headset is communicatively coupled to the wireless device and comprises a headset communications module, a headset selection means, and a headset display. The headset wireless communications module is configured to wirelessly communicate with the wireless device. The headset scrolling wheel is configured to control the local application on the wireless device from the headset. The headset display is configured to present a synchronized output that is synchronized with the local application that is executed on the wireless device.

Abstract: A user input device for a wireless handset and a method for receiving user input on a wireless handset is described. The user input device comprises a trackpad and a selection button. The wireless handset has a display that presents a graphical user interface. The graphical user interface is updated in accordance with input received at the user input device.
