  • Publication number: 20160343090
Abstract: There is provided a computer implemented method for generating a deviation resource flow interface on a computer system display. For planned flows of resources, information is obtained on planned resource transfers between nodes. Similarly, for actual flows of resources, information is obtained on performed transfers of at least some of the same resources between the nodes. This information is aggregated and flow statuses determined for the aggregated resource transfers. A deviation from plan status is assigned to a transfer if it is determined that a planned transfer has not been performed or if it is determined that a performed transfer does not conform to a planned transfer. If it is determined that a performed transfer conforms to a planned transfer, an on-plan flow status is assigned to such transfer.

  • Patent number: 9052209
Abstract: A system of computers, wireless networks, and vehicle-based location sensors allows real time display of equipment location, utilization, and expected arrival times for mobile vehicles. Display of location by load status and expected arrival time allows monitoring of not just vehicle location but the impact on queue times at loading and unloading endpoints allowing for equipment reallocation. Overhead map views of actual location including hazard locations and queries for vehicle and operator status are also supported.

  • Patent number: 9020688
Abstract: A communication system in a mining environment customizes messages and responses to both conserve radio bandwidth and to accommodate different communication terminal types in use. Messages to a loader with a communication terminal having a four line display and four keys may be tailored to the capabilities of the terminal, while a similar message to a foreman terminal with a full keyboard or a tablet touch screen display may include both more detail and a richer set of responses. To save bandwidth, common messages and responses can be pre-loaded onto the communication terminals so that many messages and responses can be transmitted using only the message identifier.

  • Publication number: 20140089035
Abstract: The described system may operate in a variety of environments, but may be useful in a mining environment. The system may control virtually every aspect of the location, such as determining where trucks may be, where diggers may dig, etc. and what incidents and hazards may be present. In addition, the health of the devices in the location may also be monitored and the proper personnel may be informed if a device has an issue.
