Abstract: A temporary, moveable marker for directing emergency aircraft to a landing zone employs a set of four panels which are foldable into a compact configuration. These panels are deployed in a substantially rectangular configuration to provide markings for an emergency landing zone and are attached by three hinges. This creates two panels with hinges on the two interior sides of the respective rectangles and two panels, each with one hinge on one interior side. All panels have aligning apertures so that the panels can be collapsed on top of each other to form one rectangle with an aperture through which a screw can be placed and affixed with a wing-nut on the other end, thus keeping the four panels attached. The collapsed set of four panels lie flat with at least one handle on an exterior side to allow for easy storage and transportation.

Abstract: To flash a hot gas vent pipe, representatively a chimney pipe, extending upwardly through a roof opening, a tubular sleeve having vertically extending spacer members interiorly secured thereto, with upper ends projecting above the upper sleeve end, is concentrically placed around the chimney pipe and anchored to the roof. A rubber boot is then placed around the sleeve and secured to the roof. Finally, a storm collar is downwardly telescoped onto the chimney pipe and rests on the upper end of the sleeve spacer members. Vertical cooling passages are defined between adjacent spacer member pairs, and through their interiors, and have upper exit portions communicating with the storm collar interior.

Abstract: A sprocket, gear or pulley having an interchangeable peripheral portion for replacement. The device has a hub with an axial boss, an annular member having teeth or a groove along its outer rim and located concentrically on the boss, and a cap to hold the annular member immovable on the boss. The annular member may be segmented. The inner rim of the annular member and the boss may be threaded or splined for interengagement.

Abstract: A sprocket having interchangable teeth, in which a chain is removably mounted circumferentially on the peripheral edge portion of a hub, with means to key the chain both longitudinally and laterally on the edge portion of the hub. Each link of the chain carries one or more teeth which project radially outward with respect to the hub.
