  • Publication number: 20200302301
Abstract: Logic may determine a specific performance of a neural network based on an event and may present the specific performance to provide a user with an explanation of the inference by a machine learning model such as a neural network. Logic may determine a first activation profile associated with the event, the first activation profile based on activation of nodes in one or more layers of the neural network during inference to generate an output. Logic may correlate the first activation profile against a second activation profile associated with a first training sample of training data. Logic may determine that the first training sample is associated with the event based on the correlation. Logic may output an indicator to identify the first training sample as being associated with the event.

  • Publication number: 20200290647
Abstract: Autonomous vehicles leave passengers with time to perform activities while awaiting travel to conclude. While one might engage in reading, playing games, or conversing with others, it is expected another common activity will be to sleep. Disclosed are various examples of how to coordinate a traffic control system with home and vehicle environments to enable allowing a person to be able to sleep while traveling, where travel is in accord with personal preferences, and constraints, such as schedule or systemic constraints (e.g., traffic). It will be appreciated passengers may be transferred to their vehicle while still asleep, or monitored to determine a time to awaken the passenger for transfer to the vehicle such that the passenger is more likely to be able to return to sleep for the travel.

  • Patent number: 10755678
Abstract: The presently disclosed display device includes one or more user detection sensors that determine a user location in respond to the display device. The display device then reformats image data based on the determined user location, such as by transitioning the image data from one mode to another and/or angling the image data toward the determined user location. When sharing the image data with another display device, the display devices may reformat the image data based on user location without a user manually entering a desired format or orientation. In addition, the display devices may determine whether they are touching or almost touching and, in response, split, reformat, or re-orient the image data to combine to form a single, larger display. By reformatting or orienting image data toward users using device sensors, instead of relying on user customization, the presently disclosed techniques provide more efficient and intuitive user experiences.

  • Patent number: 10720184
Abstract: Participants can compete in a physical environment, such as by piloting a car around a track. The competition is recorded in a video. Participants can interact physically with each other and with the race environment, such as by steering into one another and navigating the race environment. Participants can also interact virtually, such as “shooting” one another with digitally rendered weapons. Both real and virtual interactions affect the outcome of the competition. The video is programmatically altered to show special effects and is programmatically edited to select physical and virtual interactions, changes, which had the largest effect on the outcome of the competition. The programmatically altered video may be played back during game play and the programmatically edited video may be played back after the competition.
