  • Publication number: 20040128733
Abstract: Swimwear containing at least one detachable panel having at least two sides, with each side of each panel featuring different colors, and/or different textures and/or different designs/indicia allowing the wearer to create a different “look” for the swimwear by detaching, inverting and reattaching the panel. For swimwear having multiple similar panels, the panels may be detached and reattached/arranged to produce a mirror image of the original set of the swim wear. The invention additionally provides for swapping of panels from similarly constructed swimwear, so that the wearer can detach, arrange and reattach the panels to create sets of swimwear with a multitude of different appearances. The invention can be applied to clothing with the capacity of being similarly constructed with detachable panels. Such additional embodiments of the invention could be applied to non-swimwear such as women's underwear such as panties and brassieres or women's other clothing such as Bandeau top.
