Patent number: 11191383Abstract: A hanging material (i.e. privacy curtain) support system may include a coupling device, a ceiling mount assembly, and hanging material support tubing. The coupling device may include a removable guide section. The removable guide section may facilitate proper alignment of the coupling device to the hanging material support tubing. If the coupling device is not properly aligned and fixed with the support tubing, the support tubing may not be provided in a level state for allowing support attachment members (i.e.—C-shaped hooks) to flow/move freely across the support tubing. When the support tubing is not secured/fixed in a level state, the attachment members may not move/slide properly across the support tubing which would degrade the operation of the entire system (i.e.—moving a hanging material—i.e. privacy curtain—from open to closed states and vice-versa).Type: GrantFiled: June 22, 2019Date of Patent: December 7, 2021Assignee: CROMPTON VENTURES, LLCInventors: Marc Eric Hatton, Thomas Allan Fitzgerald, Glen Ray Platner, Robert Blanford

Publication number: 20180110661Abstract: An absorbent article having improved leg cuffs. The absorbent article includes a topsheet, a backsheet joined to the topsheet; and an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet and the backsheet. The absorbent core can have longitudinal edges and end edges, and the absorbent article can have a leg cuff extending along each longitudinal edge of the absorbent core. The leg cuff can have a lifted position and a flat position, a height, a width, a length, a volume, an upper surface, an inner barrier, an outer barrier, a lower surface, and a cross-sectional area that is a trapezoid shape in the lifted position. The cross-sectional area is defined by the upper surface, the inner barrier, the outer barrier, and the lower surface.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2017Publication date: April 26, 2018Inventor: Glen Ray LASH

Patent number: 6372952Abstract: The present invention relates in one aspect to absorbent articles that maintain or increase fluid acquisition rates when subjected to successive fluid loads. In another aspect, the invention relates to an absorbent article useful for absorbing discharges of aqueous body fluids which has a fluid pervious topsheet, a backsheet and an absorbent core, the absorbent core including at least one upper storage component in direct fluid communication with the topsheet capable of expanding in the z-direction to form a fluid acquisition zone when contacted with aqueous body fluids, the acquisition zone being at least partially surrounded by the upper fluid storage component and beneath the fluid discharge region of the core, and a fluid acquisition/distribution component having at least a portion positioned underneath and in fluid communication with the storage component and acquisition zone.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 1996Date of Patent: April 16, 2002Assignee: The Procter & Gamble CompanyInventors: Glen Ray Lash, Fumito Furukawa, John Joseph Litchholt, Ebrahim Rezai, Mattias Schmidt

Patent number: 6241083Abstract: The present invention is a wrap-around carrier for bottles that has a large opening with rounded corners in the end walls and has a sloping end panel on each end that slopes inwardly as it rises towards the top panel. This carrier may have a circular window or a rectangular window with rounded corners in each side wall. This carrier may also have a tear strip in the top panel and sloping end panels so that a substantial portion of the top panel and sloping end panels can be removed converting the carrier into a tray. This carrier may also have an elongated handle in the top panel with slits extending into the sloping end panels to dissipate the stress from carrying the carrier.Type: GrantFiled: April 11, 2000Date of Patent: June 5, 2001Assignee: Riverwood International CorporationInventor: Glen Ray Harrelson
