Publication number: 20240297913Abstract: The disclosure herein provides a pyramid topology for a communications network in which an authoritative server sits at the top of the pyramid. This is the “principal” server. The principal server connects to a sub-layer of “subordinate” servers (i.e., slave servers). The principal server gathers data from the subordinate servers at a predetermined interval based on the maximum number of connections that can be serviced within the desired timeframe. An additional layer of lower-level subordinate servers can be added under each of the higher-level subordinate servers to increase the network capacity. Additional levels of subordinate servers can be added to further increase the network capacity such that a single network may include a principal server and many cascading levels of subordinate servers to form the pyramid structure.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 30, 2021Publication date: September 5, 2024Inventor: Glen WHEELER

Publication number: 20220394422Abstract: The present invention utilizes a method of using WIFI transmitters and mobile devices to communicate with a multitude of personal mobile devices in large crowded areas where network congestion would otherwise prevent the communication to the attendees, such as a concert event. The method teaches utilizing stationary WIFI emitters and the WIFI transmission capability of mobile devices to disseminate communications in the form of encoded instructions in a SSID to the event attendees.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 2, 2021Publication date: December 8, 2022Inventor: Glen Wheeler

Publication number: 20220207024Abstract: The present invention utilizes a database network topology which allows a single shared value to be updated by a multitude of users simultaneously on multiple sub-level servers which feed higher level servers, which aggregate the data from the sub-level servers, and feed a master server, which aggregates all the data updates and feeds back to the users. The network topology is best represented as a pyramid.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2021Publication date: June 30, 2022Applicant: Waggle CorporationInventor: Glen Wheeler

Patent number: 7904268Abstract: A method for validating a flow calibration factor of a flow meter is provided according to an embodiment of the invention. The method for validating a flow calibration factor of a flow meter includes determining an initial flexural stiffness of a component of the flow meter. The method for validating a flow calibration factor of a flow meter includes determining a current flexural stiffness of the component. The method for validating a flow calibration factor of a flow meter further includes comparing the initial flexural stiffness to the current flexural stiffness. The method for validating a flow calibration factor of a flow meter further includes detecting a calibration error condition responsive to comparing the initial flexural stiffness to the current flexural stiffness.Type: GrantFiled: October 22, 2003Date of Patent: March 8, 2011Assignee: Micro Motion, Inc.Inventors: Matthew Glen Wheeler, David F. Patent number: 7005019Abstract: A flow meter is disclosed that is comprised of a base, a driver, pick-offs, and a flow tube made from a fluoropolymer substance. The base of the flow meter is comprised of a first leg and a second leg. The first leg includes a tube opening and an adhesive opening and the second leg includes a tube opening and an adhesive opening. The flow tube passes through the tube openings of the first leg and the second leg. The tube opening of the first leg has a diameter slightly larger than the flow tube to create a gap between the tube opening and the flow tube. The adhesive opening of the first leg provides access to the gap so that adhesive may be applied to the flow tube and an inner surface of the tube opening to affix the flow tube to the base. The adhesive opening in the second leg performs the same function.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2001Date of Patent: February 28, 2006Assignee: Emerson Electric Co.Inventors: Gary Edward Pawlas, Mark James Bell, Matthew Glen Wheeler, Daniel Patrick McNulty, Jonathan Steven Ash, Leland Charles Leber
