  • Publication number: 20070160812
Abstract: Products and processes for forming door skins. One such process includes forming in a press a master panel having a raised profile extending beyond a planar surface of the master panel. The raised profile can be removed substantially from the master panel to form two distinct panels with each distinct panel having a substantially straight edge. Each door panel can then be sized referencing its substantially straight edge.

  • Patent number: 7022414
Abstract: Molded skins and methods of making molded skins are disclosed. An embodiment of a skin includes a sheet having first and second surfaces, a first arcuate portion integral with the sheet, and a second arcuate portion integral with the sheet and adjacent to the first arcuate portion. The sheet includes a cellulosic material. The first arcuate portion includes a first surface and a second surface, each having an arc. The second arcuate portion includes a first surface and a second surface, each having an arc. An angle forming the arc of the first surface of the first arcuate portion is greater than 110 degrees and an angle forming the arc of the first surface of the second arcuate portion is less than 102 degrees.

  • Patent number: 5725346
Abstract: A bale handling and transporting apparatus has a bale handler on a trailer or body which can be positioned to pick up bales located on either side of the body. The bale handler may have an upright boom, a boom arm, and a bale gripper. The boom is pivoted to move the boom arm and the bale gripper to either side of the body. The boom may be adjusted in length and lowered to place a bale within jaws of the bale gripper. A stabilizer supports the body during the bale lifting operation. The boom and boom arm are operated to lift the bale onto the trailer or body. A conveyor belt shifts bales along the length of the trailer in either direction. The belt is keyed to the trailer to prevent sideways shifting of the belt relative to the trailer body, such as when the trailer is on a hillside. The body may be articulated with first and second bed sections. When empty, one of the bed sections may be pivoted or otherwise positioned to overlie the other bed section to reduce the overall length of the trailer.
