    Abstract: A light fixture extender adapted to be interposed a base and a diffuser of a light fixture. The light fixture extender includes a first coupling region adapted to removably couple the extender with the base of the light fixture and a second coupling region adapted to removably couple the extender with the diffuser of the light fixture. The light fixture extender further includes an extension region extending between the first coupling region and the second coupling region configured to enable an extended-length light bulb to be contained within the diffuser. The extension region may include a plurality of vents.
