    Abstract: A vibration isolation system for a cover mountable on a vibratable engine includes a plurality of resilient grommets positioned about a plurality of stripper bolts which are inserted into the cover and through a resilient sealing gasket to threadedly secure the cover to the engine. The grommet and gasket have spring rates within a predetermined range of each other to provide maximum isolation of the cover from the engine.
