  • Publication number: 20220395403
Abstract: The invention concerns a compression garment for providing compression to a body part, in particular a limb, of a patient, comprising an, in particular tubular, padded sleeve extending around the body part and having an inner layer and an outer layer secured, in particular sewn, together to define at least one enclosure between them, and multiple particles, in particular plastic foam particles, received in the enclosure for being pressed against the body part.

  • Patent number: 11018484
Abstract: A cable manager or serpentine comb assembly that can be provided as part of or as an add-on accessory to an electronics cabinet or enclosure (such as in a server rack or the like) to provide improved cable management. The cable manager uses a series of spaced-apart curved features or walls (“comb teeth”) to retain cables axially and laterally. The movement restriction provided by the cable manager is a product of the mechanical interaction of a cable, positioned in a channel or void between an adjacent pair of these curved walls/comb teeth, with the curved surfaces on the cable manager. The channels can be sized with varying widths and engagement curvatures to account for flexibility and minimum bend requirements of the cables being retained and managed by the cable manager or based on its intended use.

  • Patent number: 10819709
Abstract: An organization that wishes its messages to be secure (the “communicating organization”) uses services of a secure communications infrastructure to securely exchange communications among its users. The secure communications infrastructure allows granting to third-party applications the permission to act on behalf of the users when using the secure communications infrastructure. This delegation may be accomplished at a very granular level, specifying the particular applications that are authorized to act on behalf of a user, the particular operations that those applications are authorized to perform, and/or in which contexts the applications may perform the operations. An agent component acts as an intermediary between third-party applications and the core of the secure communications infrastructure. This permits the third-party application to take actions on behalf of the user, while also preventing the third-party applications from obtaining the security-specific data that could lead to a breach of security.

  • Patent number: 10709631
Abstract: A compression garment for a neurological disorder includes a body portion and a pad. The body portion may be operable to wrap around a foot and the pad can attach to an inner surface of the body portion. The pad can include an outward protrusion and/or an inward recess. A guide sleeve may be dimensioned to wrap together with the body portion around the foot, the pad being disposable between the body portion and the guide sleeve. A first tensioning band may be attached onto to first and second locations of the body portion and be operable to secure opposing first and second portions of the inner surface of the body portion to secure the outward protrusion and/or recess of the pad against the abductor hallucis and flexor hallucis brevis muscles of the foot. • Patent number: 7584770
Abstract: An integrated filler system to transfer a filler product from a filler product source to a product receptacle is provided. The integrated filler system includes a cylinder housing, a pallet valve disposed within the cylinder housing that contains a product flow aperture, and a piston inserted in a valve bore of the pallet valve. A linear actuator is connected to the piston to selectively actuate a linear travel of the piston within the valve bore. A rotary actuator is connected to the pallet valve to selectively position the product flow aperture to fluidly communicate with either a product input port or a product output port formed in the cylinder housing.

  • Publication number: 20070197051
Abstract: Method and apparatus for switching high power at high repetition rates. The apparatus is preferably a switch utilizing a pressurized flowing dielectric. The pressurized dielectric suppresses growth of dielectric breakdown byproducts, such as large bubbles and breakdown contamination, enabling lower dielectric flow rates to remove the byproducts. In addition to the advantage of lower flow rates, and thus smaller and lighter pumping means, the switch can switch high energies (up to megajoules) at fast repetition rates, up to thousands of pulses per second. The switch is preferably triggered to reduce jitter. The switch can also be used to remove water from oil.

  • Patent number: 6138601
Abstract: A Vee bottom planing boat hull (32) has right and left steps (44 and 46) positioned so as to optimize the boat's trim angle at top speed, and defining right and left notches (48 and 50) in which are pivotally mounted left and right trim tabs (56 and 58) having forward leading edges (60 and 62) along oblique pivot axes (64 and 66) causing outer corners (102 and 104) of trailing edges (68 and 70) of the trim tabs to move downwardly more than inner corners (106 and 108) during downward pivoting of the trim tabs, providing an active hull to control boat trim angle and effectively reduce deadrise angle while maintaining a running surface trailing edge substantially free of discontinuities in the vertical direction.
