    Abstract: A foiled grating is provided for use with a jet-powered personal watercraft. The grating is adapted to be secured substantially across the intake opening in the bottom of the craft's hull and includes a foil and at least two substantially parallel bars oriented longitudinally within the intake opening. The foil is supported by the bars and positioned so as to divide a section of the intake channel into upper and lower portions to direct the intake water flow for a more even flow to the craft's jet pump.
