    Abstract: An electrical safety system and method is provided which includes a flexible electrical safety vest, a lifeline coupled with the vest in various configurations, and leg straps. The electrical safety vest includes a number of loops which are used to couple the lifeline in a variety of relationships that enable different types of maneuvering of a worker with relation to a hazard. Various embodiments of the invention can be used to rapidly and safety remove a worker from proximity to an immediate threat to their life, health, or safety. Direct and indirect extraction from a danger are enabled. A variety of methods are also provided for operating various embodiments of the invention.
