    Abstract: Middle distillate fuel additives, especially diesel fuel additives, are disclosed which improve one or more cold flow properties of said fuel such as cetane, pour point, wax formation and anti-icing characteristics. The additives comprise a cold flow improver, preferably a vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer, a cetane improver comprising paraffinic nitrate or a mixture of nitrates, an anti-icer comprising an aliphatic alcohol or a cyclic aliphatic alcohol having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or mixtures thereof and an oil soluble aromatic solvent.
