Abstract: A system and method for removing stakes from the ground including an apparatus for removing the stakes; means for engaging the removal apparatus with the stakes that utilize interlocking angled surfaces; steps for positioning the removal apparatus on a stake imbedded in a ground; steps for sliding the removal apparatus along the stake in an upward motion; and steps for engaging the removal apparatus with the stake to allow the upward motion of the removal apparatus to remove the stake from the ground.

Abstract: A tool for exerting pulling forces for extracting a large headed stake which has been driven into the ground. The tool may have an elongated body bearing a handle at one end and two offset projections for abutting the large head of the stake at the other end. The projections are configured to present abutting surfaces when the tool is generally aligned parallel to the stake and also when the tool is aligned perpendicularly to the stake. The tool may be used in an impacting mode and alternatively in a prying mode. The handle can engage one end of a lever to develop increased pulling force.

Abstract: A nail device including an elongated body having a handle at one end of said body and a nailing region for adapting nail elements to on the opposite end, wherein the nailing region comprises a broad surface for receiving the blow of a hammer and means for interchanging the nail elements, wherein the nail elements can be either nail setting elements or center punch elements.
