  • Patent number: 9036618
Abstract: Method and system for providing voice assisted configuration on an IP telephone in a non-DHCP environment includes detecting a data packet including the IP telephone terminal MAC address, transmitting a configuration terminal MAC address in response to detected IP telephone MAC address, and configuring the IP telephone terminal in the non-DHCP layer 2 environment by assigning an IP address, a gateway address, a subnet mask, and additional parameters such as audio and noise level adjustment so that the IP telephone terminal is configured to fully function in the data network. Additional VOIP telephone terminals in the local area network may be configured by the configuration terminal.

  • Patent number: 8792475
Abstract: Method and system for providing pass through web configuration on an IP telephone comprising the steps of establishing a data communication path in a data network, detecting a configuration parameter in the data communication path, extracting and also additionally, storing the detected configuration parameter, and performing a configuration procedure of an IP telephone associated with the configuration parameter operatively coupled to the data network is disclosed. The configuration parameter may include an Internet Protocol (IP) address, a key value pair associated with an IP address, or a valid communication address.

  • Publication number: 20110058683
Abstract: A mobile robotic device includes a microphone array for detecting sound energy in its immediate environment. The sound energy received by each microphone in the microphone array is digitized, sampled and quantified. The quantified sound energy is used to calculate a sound energy difference factor between neighboring microphones in the array, the sound energy difference factors calculated over time are counted to be greater than or lesser than a nominal value and the counts are used to calculate a series of two-dimensional sound energy factors. The output of the microphone with the two highest calculated two-dimensional energy factors is then selected for processing and transmission over a network to be played at a far-end location.

  • Patent number: 7860236
Abstract: A method and system in network switch for cancelling multiple sources of network echo, including echo that is combined with a persistent, non-echo signal. A first echo canceller cancels a first echo signal that arises from an echo path in the network switch, and second echo canceller cancels a second echo signal that arises from an echo path in an external network device. The first echo canceller operates by first removing any persistent, non-echo signal that may be combined with the first echo signal, then training on the remaining, pure echo signal. The second echo canceller includes two sub-component echo cancellers that are coordinated so as to provide a minimum error signal for cancellation applied to the second echo signal.
