    Abstract: A driver for rewinding a cargo winch strap includes a cordless drill and an adapter. The adapter fits into the chuck of the drill and has two movable jaws. The jaws close onto and grip the collar of the cargo winch as soon as the drill is placed into reverse and open to release the collar as soon as the direction of the drill is changed from reverse to forward.
