    Abstract: A tie for holding electrical wire includes a base and a zip tie. The base has an opening for holding a zip tie fastener therein. The zip tie has a first portion having a first width, and a second portion having a second width lesser than the first width. The opening in the base is sufficient to allow the second portion of the tie to pass therethrough, but too small to allow the first portion of the tie to pass therethrough. The tie also includes a connector on the free end of the first portion sized to receive the second portion of the tie.
