  • Patent number: 4934649
Abstract: A theft deterrent device comprises an anchor means for securing the theft deterrent device to the bottom surface area of a secured item, a thin high tensile wire means operably connected to the anchor means for extending through a small drill hole in a horizontal mounting surface, and a locking means below the bottom of the horizontal mounting surface for coupling with and tensioning the thin high tensile wire means, whereby when the thin wire means is extended through the small drill hole and coupled with the locking means the theft deterrent device and the secured item are secured to the horizontal mounting surface.

  • Patent number: 4188605
Abstract: An encapsulated Hall effect device is constructed on a thin substrate with an aperture. A semi-conductor chip having a plurality of connection leads and including a Hall effect element having a sensing surface is disposed in registration with the aperture. Encapsulation material surrounds the chip and aperture. The encapsulation material comprises a nonmagnetic portion which surrounds the sensing surface of the chip and a magnetically active portion which surrounds the surface of the chip opposite the sensing surface, with both portions together fully enclosing the chip.

  • Patent number: 3934104
Abstract: A push-button electric switch particularly adapted for use in printed circuit boards in which the base member has a plurality of terminals thereon and the actuating plunger may incorporate one or more bridging contact members which cooperate with the terminals to provide varying switching configurations, such as a single pole, single throw switch or double pole, double throw switch. The base is keyed to the actuating plunger and housing so that the housing and plunger may be assembled on the base in either one of two positions to provide with a single bridging contact in either one of two configurations with respect to the terminals connecting to the printed circuit board. The assembly provides for a recessed or hollow operating shaft of the plunger and an upstanding post on the base member for providing a mounting for an illumination light for key top illumination and permitting connection of the electric conductors from the illumination light through the base member to the printed circuit board.
