  • Patent number: 9744989
Abstract: A hydraulic control system for steering rear caster wheels of a work machine. The control system has a steering mode that proportionally controls the steering of rear caster wheels while compensating the circuit to keep steering performance independent from the load generated by the rear caster wheels, a no steering mode that maintains the position of the rear caster wheels in the absence of a steering command, and a freewheeling mode that permits the rear caster wheels to rotate freely 360°.

  • Patent number: 8670663
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media provide for notifying an optical line termination (OLT) of a power failure. According to embodiments, a method for notifying an OLT of a power failure is provided. According to the method, a notification of a power failure at an optical network termination (ONT) is received. In response to receiving the notification, power is retrieved from a dedicated power storage unit dedicated to providing power for the transmission of a dying gasp alarm. The dying gasp alarm is transmitted to the OLT utilizing at least a portion of the power from the dedicated power storage unit. The dying gasp alarm notifies the OLT of the power failure.

  • Patent number: 7809262
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media provide for notifying and determining a location of a fiber cut. According to embodiments, a method for determining a location of a fiber cut in a passive optical network (PON) including a plurality of optical network terminations (ONTs) is provided. According to the method, a plurality of base signatures are generated prior to the fiber cut. Each of the base signatures correspond to a known configuration of the plurality of ONTs. In response to the fiber cut, a current signature corresponding to a current configuration of the plurality of ONTs is generated. Whether the current signature matches one of the base signatures is determined. In response to finding a matching base signature, the location of the fiber cut is determined based on the known configuration of the plurality of ONTs corresponding to the matching base signature.

  • Publication number: 20080292313
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable media provide for ranging a device in a point-to-multipoint network. According to embodiments, a method for ranging a device in a point-to-multipoint network is provided. According to the method, a device identifier representing a drop in the point-to-multipoint network where the device is installed is received. The device identifier is associated with the device. The device identifier and a unique identifier associated with the device are transmitted over the point-to-multipoint network to a central unit for ranging the device in the point-to-multipoint network.
